And secondly, i seriously doubt McD will allow anyone on the team with "God" in their last name.

I doubt that the Bills or NE would be inclined to trade within the division.  I think the Bills are looking for a significant upgrade from Jones.  Godchaux is a lateral move.  The draft is real deep at DT.  I think that's where Buffalo will look.

A tad light? He is 330lbs!  You don't get many dlinemen heavier than that capable of playing in the modern NFL

I love this time of year. Every NFL team begging for some dumb team to take their most overpaid player off their hands before they inevitably cut him. The framing is always good for a laugh. "We're changing defensive schemes!" Or "We're trying to help him find a home!" like it's a rescue puppy.

we do have a member from their staff on ours now who would have direct knowledge of the type of player/person he is

increases the chances of us checking in on him at least

The world has moved on. They are rare in the extreme now. The 340 pounders who can still play in this league barely exist.

There aren't many, and there never were many. They are truly special humans.

It certainly seems like there is surge in permissions to seek a trade.

 

I hope this doesn’t turn into the NBA where the players rule the league. I don’t even watch the NBA Finals now.

He's a good space eating run stuffer who doesn't get pass pressure and he's 30.

 

His contract value for 2025 is around $8M, which is borderline too high.

 

He could help the team but not at this contract value.
