I wouldn’t trade him anyone.  He has one more year left, and tag him next year.  That’s 2 more years we get to enjoy Cook, and wish him the best.  He’s only on the field 55-60% of the time, amd not worth anywhere near $15 mil.

Now that Shakir is signed, we need to to force rank in this order if possible, Benford, and then Bernard.  We get these guys reasonable extensions early before they cost too much, we have multiple young pieces in place.  The simple answer is trade this years 1 and one of the 2’s, and next years 1 for Garrett, and use the other 2nd for a DT as the class is deep.

Further down the draft as 2 4’s for a speedy WR, CB, S, and a Kicker with the last pick in the draft.  Now we’re set at Oline, Dline, depth throughout the rest of the defense and our offense was humming already this year.

I wouldn't call KC a rival. Yes, the teams have played big games in recent years but once Allen and Mahomes are gone or both teams start to suck then it goes back to being just another game against a team in your conference. The "hatred" or "dislike" won't last like it does for the Fins, Pats, and Jets.

How about obstacle?

If the Bills cut him today, I’m not sure there’s a team in the league that would pay him the kind of money he’s looking for. Absolutely zero chance anyone would give up a 2nd round pick for the right to pay him $15,000,000 a year.

they have a very good GM, so any time they come knocking I’m saying “No”.  This isn’t the Jets we’re talking about.

Exactly! Because they have a good GM they won’t be knocking on the door for Cook. Definitely not offering a 2nd at that. They’re going to pick up a guy in the 3rd round that’ll be the next Hunt, Pacheco, etc.

They also spent a first round pick on CEH.

It would be perfectly on brand.  We should look at KC's roster and make sure to help them fill any holes they might have with our top players/draft picks

I guess a lot of people have a problem giving Cook $15m a year but would be ticked off if the Chiefs paid him $15m a year even if we get their 2nd round pick.

Still hate the giants cowboys and commanders

Thought I'd get a good gauge on the Cook opinions and trading with the Chiefs opinions.  They could use an upgrade at RB.

It depends on his contract extension demands. If KC is going to give him a 4/$60M extension then I’ll gladly take pick 63 for him.

They sure did. That didn’t quite work out. I know you started this thread as a fun exercise about trading with KC but I just don’t see them giving up a 2nd round pick for a RB AND have to pay him as well.

Haven’t we been saying we need difference makers? Guys who can make a play out of nowhere? So sure, let’s trade ours and pray we can get something almost as good with the pick.

I think we can find something much more reasonable than his initial ask. That’s just how it works. I hope they can find some ground in the middle.

Stretching the oppositions D out with Worthy's speed and Allens arm strength was a no brainer for me. Worthys ball tracking skills was on full display in the Superbowl. Big rookie season. On the other hand Bills 1st pick in the 2nd round had very little impact his rookie season. Elam, now Coleman. Bills GM clearly needs to do a better job. (I'm by no means giving up on Coleman.)

Voted hell no on trading Cook to the Chefs,

good grief...

Worthy had an OK rookie season. He made a few good plays in the playoffs, though, so I see why some people are excited about him.
