There are reasons, sure. His injuries are a risk but he also does not have entirely great relationships within the organisation. Lots of rumours about friction with the coach. I think he can still play. Is he a risk? Yes. But in terms of realistic and cost effective ways for the Bills to add vet players with elite talent this one makes more sense than most.

You know why they want to trade him other then his injury history they have 2 very good corners then want to sign back Stokes and Ballentine i say we steal Stokes of the free agent market. He's 25yrs old going into his prime and we can get him for a reasonable price. Stokes would be a great #2 corner opposite Benford.

I think we should offer this season's 1st and 2nd round picks, and throw in a #2 from next year for good measure.  I mean, how could we go wrong?

I think the Bills will be interested in Stokes in FA if he doesn't sign. They liked him in that 2021 draft. I am less persuaded. 2024 was his best year but he still had plenty of ups and downs and gave up a 97 passer rating when targeted.

By no means is he a finished product but there is plenty of upside to him as he's entering his prime and could be a great fit in Mcd system. The plus side is he won't break the bank and can be a very good #2 corner for us with upside to develop into a #1 caliber corner. I would offer him a 1yr 4 mil deal and a chance to start.

He will get more than that I think. I don't hate the idea of Stokes. He is certainly a guy that means you are not required to force it in the draft.

Not sure he'll get much money he wasn't even a starter on the Packers and he has a history of injuries. I think he's going to sign a prove it deal somewhere
