Really hope Beane gets a chance to draft Neal if he drops in the 4th or 5th. Would be a great replacement if we don’t sign Ty Johnson. Similar player with a bigger upside IMO.

Not going to fall, or last until 4th

I’ve read he might be there in the 4th due to the depth at RB in this draft. Where do you think will he go in the 2nd or 3rd?

My Brother is a KU alum and season ticket holder, so I have seen some of his games. Kid is good.

I've seen him a little bit from last season.

Kansas had a terrible start before they rebounded.

Looks good. I'd be fine with drafting him.

Yeah i see that… very smooth ans elusive… wonder what his 40 tine is.

Neal seems to be a talented prospect, BUT...

If the Bills re-sign James Cook, then between him and Ray Davis, I don't see the need to spend a 4th on a running back. Even IF Ty is not re-signed, then a late rounder or UDFA or post-draft veteran signee should be fine for RB3. It's a very deep running back class.

That said, if for any reason the Bills feel like re-signing James Cook is NOT going to be the likely outcome (which I don't anticipate), then that changes things.

I still think we’ll tag Cook next year for 2 years from now.  We have him for two years so would rather spend the draft resource in other areas.  RB is the least of our concerns.  We have a good room now.  Ty’s cheap.

Resign Johnson and draft Neal with one of the 4th rd picks

Every year you want a high running back in the draft 😎 … at least this year it’s only a fourth ..,.how much is he going to play if they bring back Johnson ?

Interesting - can you tag someone for a future year?

That’s the big question in my mind.  I’m really curious to see his combine performance.  He’s a local kid for me, so he gets a lot of buzz in KC, but I’m just not sure he’s got enough speed for the league.  He reminds me of a college pitcher who can throw junk balls really effectively but whose fastball tops out at 88.  If he runs a 4.45 or something, he’s likely going day 2.  If he’s 4.55, he’s off my board.  If I’m spending draft capital on a RB, I want someone who turns 20 yard gains into TDs, not the other way around.

I've been saying, for years, that a good/great RB would make Josh Allen an even better QB and help the offense because he wouldn't have to carry it by himself. I'm not willing to break the bank on Cook when he could be replaced. I'd rather spend that capital on the defense to help Josh and the offense win the SB. Do you think Cook could be replaced??

Yes … but he doesn’t need to be until 2026…

I don’t want to draft a guy in the 4th Round to play behind Cook, Johnson and Davis …

Draft a guy in 12 months if they need to
