I’m on team “don’t put Groot” though. He’s a good role player to me. As soon as he becomes a $20M a year guy, I don’t want to have my team with that contract. I would love if he had positive trade value and went out on a deal for Garrett (obviously if he’s available). Quote
Charles Romes Posted February 26 Posted February 26 I like taking two or three shots at a mid level pass rusher in the low tens compensation hoping one catches fire rather than blowing the whole bank on a thirty year old. Quote
Chandler#81 Posted February 26 Posted February 26 Don’t forget we’re likely to receive 2 comp picks soon. 1 Quote

We aren't forced to give a CB who 0/3 in staying healthy in the playoffs 20-25M. Get the DL right and the rest of the Defense will fall in line. Exactly...start at the DL and work your way back. I'm paying the DL the lion's share. My order of preference would be Garrett, Crosby, Hendrickson, Sweat, Landry. Mack is too old. Quote

In the past I would have said he's not a great fit for the defense, but it doesn't matter anymore, we just need sacks. I am guessing he goes to New England to play for Vrabel. 1 Quote

Shane Bowen was his DC for 3 years as well. He's now the DC for the Giants which would put them possibly in play as well 1 Quote
gonzo1105 Posted Friday at 07:17 PM Posted Friday at 07:17 PM I’d be okay with Landry as the DE opposite Groot or in the # 3 role but then you have to move Epenesa imo Quote

vtnatefootball11 Posted Friday at 07:22 PM Posted Friday at 07:22 PM I agree on the DL theme and it's great that there are more targets as that increases our chances of adding an elite piece, but Landry ain't that. He's a very good player, and even underrated league wide you could argue, but he's not a difference maker, game wrecker type like Garrett or Hendrickson. Let's use all the available DL options to drive the price down on Garrett! Quote

somnus00 Posted Friday at 09:25 PM Posted Friday at 09:25 PM He could be our new Lorenzo Alexander. Kind of reminds me of that kind of player. Quote
