BuffaloRebound Posted February 26 Posted February 26 https://www.nbcsports.com/nfl/profootballtalk/rumor-mill/news/titans-give-harold-landry-permission-to-talk-to-teams-about-a-trade This is much more realistic trade target for Bills. He’s only 28 and has 2 years left on reasonable contract. 3 Quote
GunnerBill Posted February 26 Posted February 26 Outside backer more than a hand in the dirt DE and doesn't really move the dial for me. He is an upgrade, sure. But I wouldn't give up much for it. Quote
H2o Posted February 26 Posted February 26 12 sacks, 10.5 sacks, and 9 sacks this past season. He's played alongside some pretty solid DT's as well. $17.5M is a bit steep imo. If he was willing to rework his deal to lower the cap hits, then maybe. I wouldn't trade anything more than a 5th though. 1 Quote

If you re-sign rousseau in the $20m per year range and you’re also playing oliver $20m+, it’s hard to go much over $17.5m for another D lineman. Landry kinda fits next to oliver and rousseau, then draft a DT in the 1st round. Maybe a swap of one of our 2nd rounders for their high 4th rounder gets it done. 1 2 Quote
Kirby Jackson Posted February 26 Posted February 26 Landry is a good pass rusher. He would upgrade the pass rush but in a similar manner to how Leonard Floyd did. He would be an okay addition but why settle? There’s no reason for the Bills to settle on Sweat or Landry or whomever. Myles Garrett should be their target. He should be followed by Crosby/Hendrickson/Mack/Parsons and then Landry/Sweat. The Bills do not need to be concerned with cost. They need to be concerned with adding elite talent. Start with the best and work your way down from there. 1 1 Quote

If we plan on re-signing everyone, maybe. We aren't forced to give Cook 10-15M. We aren't forced to give a CB who 0/3 in staying healthy in the playoffs 20-25M. Get the DL right and the rest of the Defense will fall in line. 1 1 Quote
NORWOODS FOOT Posted February 26 Posted February 26 I say turn over every stone. Check out Landry. Check out everyone else available as well. But please dear god let Beane actually hit on a DT in the first two rounds to add to the mix Quote
Bill51390 Posted February 26 Posted February 26 He was ranked 5th in all snaps for edge rushers. But was given a pass rush grade ranking him 197th out of 211 edge rushers. Was ranked 5th in run defense grade out of all edge. Had 15 hurries which ranked him 78th. Gonna be a pass for me, we already have these players. 3 1 Quote

Don’t disagree but outside of Mack can’t see any of those higher tier guys playing on a different team next year. 1 Quote
stuvian Posted February 26 Posted February 26 10 sacks on a three win team says something. Would be worth seeing how many were recorded in garbage time Quote

That’s fair. I think we will see some movement but maybe not with Garrett. I could see Crosby or Hendrickson going. Quote

Mark Vader Posted February 26 Posted February 26 Let me know when the Titans give Jeffery Simmons permission to seek a trade. 4 Quote

Start with the best and work your way down from there. Cleveland, LV and Dallas have to be willing to trade them. Not one of those organizations has publicly said they would be willing. There is also not a report or behind the scenes rumor of the team feeling out the market. 1. Garrett 2. Parsons 3. Crosby are all unlikley to be traded. I would pay for 10 plus sacks. Hendricks would be priority but I would have Landry on that list ahead of many other imo. Sweat imo is the stereotypical superbowl champion over pay. Mack at this point is a boom or bust move like Von was. 2 Quote

We forget we were just 4th in sacks in 2023. Get Landry and upgrade Daquan Jones. I would actually keep Jones as a rotation player. 1 Quote
