now the issue is will he make the Hall of Fame? if he does i assume he he’s in as an eagle.

Issue wasn't a coach leaving with Peters and the Bills.  It was his contract.  He was a TE in college.  Came here and then the Bills moved him to RT.  He played great there and was awarded with a new contract.  He then, due to injury I believe, was moved to LT.  After 1.5 years under new contract, he was holding out wanting another new one.

Luckily for the Bills, Brandon harassed the wrong lady and ran afoul of the Pegulas.

Peters had the quickness and size needed to play LT, and the Bills knew they were always going to move him there.  Brandon signed him to a contract for low-end RT money.  In fact, Peters' back up at LT on the Bills made as much as Peters.  

 

After moving to LT, Peters played at an elite level.  He was twice named 2nd team All Pro.  Peters didn't realize he'd been tricked until he went to the Pro Bowl and found out what other LTs were making.  That's when he demanded a new contract.

I remember Russ Brandon standing in front of the cameras the day Training Camp started saying he didn’t know where Jason Peters was and that they hadn’t spoken since January and it was cordial. 
 

The impossible contract to satisfy Peters was done in a couple of hours in Philadelphia.
