RoyBatty is alive Posted 3 hours ago Posted 3 hours ago great player thanks largely to the then Bills coaching staff, what was his coach’s nickname? the peanut that switched him to Tackle. Sadly things didn’t work out, a lot of the rancor was because the Bills let the coach go. we didn’t get back what he was worth (was it Eric Wood?) but still excellent return for what we invested. now the issue is will he make the Hall of Fame? if he does i assume he he’s in as an eagle. 1 Quote

It was mouse McNally. As I recall, the bills brought in other linemen in free agency and paid them huge bucks. When Peters asked for a commensurate contract, the Bills balked, leading to the rancor and eventual trade. The Bills management at the time totally blew it. 1 Quote

Is there a Hall of Longevity? He’s a lock for that. He signed with the Bills in 2004. Remember 2004? That was a long time ago. He’s got a job with the Seahawks, so good for him. https://www.nbcsports.com/nfl/profootballtalk/rumor-mill/news/jason-peters-to-retire-take-job-in-seahawks-front-office . RichRiderBills Posted 2 hours ago Posted 2 hours ago Honestly, not signing Peters to a long term deal was one of the worst personal moves of the drought era. I thought we could have been much better in the Fitz era if we had a great LT. Think of the line w Peters, Levitre, Wood.... What could have been. 3 Quote

As I remember, Dockery and Walker weren't even bad players, just nothing special. 1 Quote
