I’m not sure he even said stuff like this about Elam. Never. This is a very new thing for this regime. He didn’t even start criticizing Elam until this year (Elams 3rd full season). Quote

Great coaches know that every player is a different person with different personalities and motivational points. You push different people in different ways, and that’s not just in football, that’s in life. I like Keon’s puffy coat, but I’ve never met the man. I hope they know how to best manage his growth. As I’ve been saying, I want people to get better over time. We are getting a little different feel this offseason. Quote

I would love to hear their answer to that. They needed WR help in a potential championship season and they took a shot. I don’t see anything wrong with that. Quote

BuffaloBillies Posted 3 hours ago Posted 3 hours ago If he can't get separation, maybe it's time to just be a bully receiver, like Anquan Boldin or Brandon Marshall. If you're not fast/quick enough, you can work to be tougher 2 Quote

He had that amazing catch vs Seattle but he also had numerous games of dropped balls, poor adjustments and no separation. He had four drops on the whole season. I guess that qualifies as "numerous". People have been claiming victories in the Coleman is great or he isn't debate all year. Did anyone read his scouting report at all? He's pretty much as advertised and you can either look at what he did well and say hopefully we'll see more of that or you can look at what he didn't and say that's what we've got. He did plenty of things well and that's what I'm going to hope for more of. 1 Quote

There's a reason why the offense got a lot better after the trade. 28 minutes ago, nedboy7 said: I’ve never seen a bigger non-story. A coach saying a rookie needs to improve in his second year? Seems like a pretty common thing. 1 Quote

JaCrispy Posted 2 hours ago Posted 2 hours ago Not gonna lie…this type of language from an organization, about a player, is a little concerning… It’s one thing to say that a player needs to grow- every player does…But when McD adds the part about “how much is up to him” makes you wonder if there is a motivational issue with Coleman… I’m reminded of Marcell Darius, who had all the talent in the world…Yet teammates had to remind him that he could be a HOFer- IF HE WANTED TO BE… Hopefully it’s not the same issue with Coleman… Quote

The 4 games before Cooper was acquired the Bills scored 24 (the Bills defense scored 7 of the Bills 31 points against Miami). 10, 20, and 23 points. After the Bills traded for Cooper the lowest point total they had minus the week 18 irrelevant game was 23 against the Colts (the defense scored 7 points) and that was a game that Cooper did not play in due to injury. If you watched the Bills last 3 games before Cooper got there you could see teams were just not fearing the Bills WR core at all. It led to the slot and middle of the field being heavily defended and the boundaries lightly defended. After the arrival of Cooper the offense was opened up a lot more consistently. And McD talking about speed, sounds like he's taking shots at Beane for the Worthy trade, maybe.. Good listen, never heard of these guys but they're good 1 Quote
