3rdand12 Posted 6 hours ago Posted 6 hours ago 11 minutes ago, Dr. Who said: I expect Beane might try and bring Cooper back, and then probably a mid-round flyer on someone with speed. I have as much confidence in his ability to get it right as I do that he will find elite talent on the DL. For all the solid achievement of the team, they are amazingly frustrating. Frustrating is what we do Dr. W lol Easy to see Cooper coming back and Samuel will be a decision to accept an offer too , imo Shakir is locked and Hollins should be as well Still need two , and one of them needs to solve the problem we are discussing WRs along with Coleman Gotta have Faith Doc ! 14 minutes ago, SoonerBillsFan said: I look at Colemans limitations physically then his production and I see it as a fail to this point. For all him being funny, he didn't produce the way we felt he should. I look at other WR's taken, Esp. BTJ who we could have traded up for, and his season was a disappointment. The greatest disappointment, which was highlighted by McDermott, is how he responded after injury. This isn't College, you gotta toughen up and play through. But we will see. As Beane said today, he is just 21, but a 2nd season of not producing and its not going to be pretty. Considering where he was drafted, and Bills did not score a Monster who is showing this year? He may not be a fail , if this was Beane's plan. From a fans production expectation ? Sure. he did not realize our hopes. No doubt This might be a second year breakout type of guy by design. I don't know lol Fail just seems harsh 1 3 Quote
TheyCallMeAndy Posted 6 hours ago Posted 6 hours ago It’s interest/upsetting that Coleman/Bishop are both being questioned for their work ethic. Quote

Injuries count in the evaluation of a player or they do not. You are being way too sensitive with regard to Coleman. Public enemy number 1? Really Quote
Buffalo Ballin Posted 6 hours ago Posted 6 hours ago This is defined through everyday no frills, no glitz, no glamour hard work. Josh Allen became League MVP through this. He was a sugar high turnover machine "accuracy issues before being drafted" Josh Allen. James Cook fumbled the ball on his very first possession and was benched for the rest of his 1st game. It took hard work and patience to emerge as a good RB today 1x Pro Bowl James Cook. These 2 guys should be their immediate local inspirations for Coleman and Bishop. Quote
Buffalo_Stampede Posted 6 hours ago Posted 6 hours ago McDermott said something about speed on One Bills Live. He was asked about speed on defense but he said speed and small isn’t something he wants. I thought of Xavier Worthy. Quote
FireChans Posted 5 hours ago Posted 5 hours ago 5 hours ago, Kirby Jackson said: That’s where I’m at. It sucks that WR is still one of the biggest needs on the team. My frustration stems from the fact that last year was, arguably, the best WR draft ever. WR was at the top of the Bills list of needs. They had an extra 2025 2nd to work with if needed. They probably needed 2 guys but certainly needed one at the top of the depth chart. I realize that’s a lot to ask of a rookie, but that’s what the need was. They left the draft, with a project, who regressed (yes he was injured) and a year later, that guy isn’t guaranteed a starting spot. Depending on how things shake out, he will be a role player. That’s horrendous execution by the football ops staff. They could have done lots and been okay at WR. Instead, they traded a 3rd, a few months later to rent Cooper. Regardless of where Coleman ends up, that whole process was a fail. Even more hilariously, they chose to prioritize DL and safety instead of WR last year. Any guesses where 3 of the biggest roster needs are today? The 2024 offseason was a disaster. The draft was a disaster. The big FA signings were disasters. And yet it was our best finish in 5 years and Josh won MVP. Football is hilarious Quote
