His weakness would lie in the drills he skipped. Taylor Mays back in 2010 height, weight, speed. RAS of 9.86 Looked like a create a player. Poor shuttle and ok 3 cone. His career was just ok due to his change of direction ability. That will be Emmanworri’s concern. The track record of players his size at that position has not translated to the NFL. In college put the best athlete on the wide side of the feild and everything happens in front of him. More linear. Less instinctive and multiple. Last comment made by Mcdermott with Simms and Florio. Simple question. What position does he find difficult to evaluate in college? His answer was not a position but style of player. Long lengthy players. Seeing the speed and movement show up on film. Are they deceptively fast or are they what they look like? A little slower than you would want. This encapsulates Emmaworri. Before him Isiah Simmons. Quote

The thing is that he was highly productive in college, so it’s not as if he’s just a workout warrior. He’s an All American, All SEC, been starting for 3 years, and the passer rating when he’s targeted is elite. That height, length, jumping ability and speed is going to come in very handy against top TE’s I like him Quote
BigBilly11 Posted Monday at 03:40 PM Posted Monday at 03:40 PM Iowa State fan here. I'd be hesitant to draft Porter before the 3rd round. He is athletic so I don't know how close he is to his ceiling. Also inexperienced. He made some plays here and there but wasn't a guy who played 100% of the snaps. TJ Tampa who the Ravens took in the 4th round last year was a better CB IMO. He'd be a great special teamer. 1 3 Quote

I’m leery that someone with that athletic ability couldn’t find the field before his last season and I think he is a 6th year (older) prospect who will have a lot to learn still at the NFL level. If he is going to win in the NFL due to his great size and athleticism, why did it take him 6 years to even be a starter in college? 3 Quote
