Doubt Amos runs that well. Good zone corner.

If we decide to play more man coverage, Thomas would be nice

Cobee Bryant is a perfect fit for the Bills if they pass on CB at 30 to take at 56 and 62. Has some length at 6’0. Has experience with man and zone schemes and has plus athleticism. Doesn’t hurt he has excellent ball production either with 14 college interceptions. Not a plus tackler but willing to stick his nose in there. Thomas for sure won’t make it to 56 and I doubt Amos does either.

you think the Bills would draft him with his weight? I think Tre was the smallest CB this regime has drafted at 190 pounds. He does play bigger than his size

I am particularly interested in day 3 boundary CB's that have Christian Benford type traits (6'+, 200+lbs, 31"+ arms, excellent 10Y split, 15+ reps on bench, potentially small school/overlooked). I have high confidence in McD's ability to strike gold on day 3 with a guy like that. Take 2 if they exist please!

Yup I think they would. I truly think they are going to more man and need better athletes. He’s not going to make it to round 4 and probably not much into 3 so if the Bills want him they’ll have to take him in round 2. I really like him

It's Revel (assuming the injury checks out), Porter, or Thomas (if he runs well) for me...

There's another Villanova CB that fits the bill.  Isas Waxter, they call him Ice. 6'1" 212lbs.

If we only take a cb late I'd be interest in this guy.

The biggest needs for the Bills are:

DT

DE

CB

Safety

WR

I would say in that order but I could be convinced that WR is a bigger need than Safety.

With that said, if Nick Emmanwori or Malaki Starks falls to the Bills, specially Emmanwori, they just may not be able to pass up on either of them.

They both have very good size, great instincts and blazing 4.3's speed.   The board would probably go apoplectic with drafting a safety with the first round choice but you could conceivably be drafting a future All pro player.

I'd be *okay* with it if they used Cole Bishop as a trade chip elsewhere and either of those guys are true difference makers

My favourite TE who is just starting to get some media love is Mason Taylor out of LSU.

I love the way he moves and he has solid hands and athleticism.

I also like Nohl Williams from Cal. 6'1", 200lbs, had 7 INT's. He should be there in the 131-181 range.

I agree, but I put the boundary WR as kind of a 2a as for as needs.  B

I’d stick with Bishop because he isn’t likely to get you value in a trade. His ultimate potential is also untapped, so we still don’t know what he is or what he will eventually be. Not worth trading him for a 4th+ rounder.

Bishop isn't going anywhere. We need someone to come in opposite him that is an upgrade and help teach the kid.

I think if the injury checks out favorably that Revel will be gone before pick 30.

Still don't know what to make of Emmanwori.  He is a physical outlier (size) for S.  While he might be a really nice presence in the run game, does he have the change of direction/quickness to be effective in coverage.  Height as a DB isn't always an advantage.

I'm not saying I definitely don't want Emmanwori, but (maybe without good reason) he feels a bit boom or bust.

Bishop was injured during camp and was a rookie.  I doubt he is going anywhere.

Sure. Then please don't use a 1st rounder on another safety! Stick to day 3 for DBs, McD has a strong track record there
