97bills Posted Tuesday at 06:20 PM Posted Tuesday at 06:20 PM I live in Mississippi in the country, and right around when Directv was losing NFL Sunday ticket, they were putting fiber optic cable in rule areas, now everyone even down a dirt road has hi speed internet. Just in time for the NFL to take streaming to new highs. And this was a big deal in my state and others , coincidence I don’t think so 🤔 Quote

I'm even OK with having to to buy YouTube TV... But the entire Package is ridiculous when I basically only watch the Bills and the Nationally televised stuff... 2025... Same here, I live in Mississippi so I buy YouTube tv. And have to buy 4 other streaming services so I don’t miss a game, I told my wife when directv lost the Sunday ticket, and they were putting fiber optic cable in rule areas, it was going to get more expensive. 1 Quote

Peacock, Paramount, Prime, Foxsports, ESPN+, NFL network, Netflix and I don't know if I covered all of them but on top of that paying Spectrum $160 a month to get the occasional home game that isn't in Prime time is f...in BS. Can't do it. I watched less games this year than ever before....and I have the above streaming services. Guess I'll have to just get the ticket next year. It's such a ripoff. All the major networks have streaming platforms. NBC,CBS,FOX, ESPN etc. I'm all for a furure boycott. DON’T DO IT! Find the alternative. Quote

Like every person, family and firm on the planet, they’re maximizing the benefit or revenue they can from their service and circumstance. The “pigs get fed” scenario is so far over the horizon it can’t be seen or imagined. Ninety two percent of the crowd saying “I’m out” ain’t close to “out.” It’s almost a tradition to complain about price increases while lining up to pay them. The NFL has what we want. Like any rational human being, me and you included, it’ll suck all the revenue/benefit/gratification/satisfaction it can out of the arrangement. Markets find equilibrium. I’ll pay, and so will all of us. Network football is an endangered species. Hogs are a hundred miles over the horizon. PS …. contributing factors: Less expensive 85 inch TVs, gambling, fantasy, more expensive stadiums. We won’t recognize the NFL ten years out from now. 2 hours ago, Don Otreply said: It’s been about the money for quite a while now, we fans tend to ignore that bit, Since the beginning of time. “Money” is a place holder and scorecard for “what do I have that you want.?
