djp14150 Posted Sunday at 11:52 PM Posted Sunday at 11:52 PM Why not have teams just try onside kicks? What I’d like to see withKOs….. if the kick bounces two times in the field ( inside the sideline hashmarks) of play then goes out of bounds — the ball is placed there. no or 1 bounce or 2 nd bounce isalong hash marks it goes to normal out of bounds spot. Low Positive Posted yesterday at 12:10 AM Posted yesterday at 12:10 AM They are trying to create a real incentive for teams to kick short of the goal line to increase the number of returns. They can't find the line between entertainment and player safety. 2 2 Quote
Matt_In_NH Posted yesterday at 12:10 AM Posted yesterday at 12:10 AM They want returns. That will make that happen. 1 Quote
billsbackto81 Posted yesterday at 12:10 AM Posted yesterday at 12:10 AM So basically one 25 yard play will put you in FG range? 🤣🤣🤣 2 Quote
loveorhatembillsfan4life Posted yesterday at 12:24 AM Posted yesterday at 12:24 AM I actually think this is great and was discussed by coaches last season. I think Sean Payton said even just moving it up five yards will create more returns as teams will now be more reluctant to kick through the end zone. 1 Quote
T.E. Posted yesterday at 12:25 AM Posted yesterday at 12:25 AM Really hope the Bills win the Super Bowl soon so that I can stop watching the NFL altogether. It's now a perversion of a once great game. 10 1 2 6 2 Quote
wppete Posted yesterday at 12:26 AM Posted yesterday at 12:26 AM Its just getting more ridiculous. Go back to the old rules, this is idiotic. 1 minute ago, T.E. said: Really hope the Bills win the Super Bowl soon so that I can stop watching the NFL altogether. SoonerBillsFan Posted yesterday at 12:31 AM Posted yesterday at 12:31 AM No kickoffs, kickoff, just start at the 25 yard lines. 3 Quote
BuffaloBillyG Posted yesterday at 12:33 AM Posted yesterday at 12:33 AM This makes it a felony to return a kick out of the end zone. Or to kick it into the end zone. 1 2 1 Quote
Doc Brown Posted yesterday at 12:37 AM Posted yesterday at 12:37 AM Helps the Bills. One of the unintended consequences of moving the ball out to the 30 is teams scored more and it was more pronounced with better Quarterbacks. A lot of the 4th and 3 from the opponents 47 was an easier cal than a 4th and 3 from your own 48. I still don't like it though because I'm a curmudgeon who likes when extra points were 20 yards and kickoffs were kicked from 30 yards. 1 Quote

Brand J Posted yesterday at 12:46 AM Posted yesterday at 12:46 AM College still has the traditional kickoff. Wonder how they get away with it. 1 Quote
billsfan714 Posted yesterday at 12:50 AM Posted yesterday at 12:50 AM Maybe they can just outlaw playing defense soon. 2 Quote
