I think he goes in rd1. My gut says IF he's there at 30, take a swing.😁

Greg Cossell's breakdown of him on One Bills Live was really interesting... Caught my attention... He really likes Jackson. He said, in this Draft at least, he's definitely a 1st Round talent. Pointed out that he took a majority of his snaps at the 4-tech so it's possible to assume he will be even better outside in an even front. He even mentioned without going too crazy, Jackson gives him some Maxx Crosby vibes...

The Bills have met with Jackson throughout this process. I think most have felt all along he was going to be a mid-late 2nd... But now I'm not so sure.

these guys are weak, time to hit the Gym.

Phillips being at the top makes sense as he uses nothing but a bull rush really as his pass rush move and it is quite effective at the college level but he will need a bigger repertoire at the NFL level to be successful.

I have done so little on this draft this year that outside the combine i hadn't even heard of Ty Robinson. But good grief watched some cursory youtube videos and🤩 looks like a freaking beast👍

I'll have to check it out. Maxx was the first person I thought of when I watched him at the combine. That is one heck of a comp if true. Maybe it was just the tats though.😉

some of the profiles i've read on him say he isn't a great natural athlete and lacks bend (which might be the case) but with a 40 inch plus vert and a 10 foot plus broad, along w his 40 time, he's pretty comfortably among the most athletic guys over 6'6" around.

He does lack bend on tape. That’s why his testing makes him a polarizing guy. Is he the athlete on tape or the guy you saw at the combine. Either way he helped himself big time where scouts will be going back to watch more on him

Unless you are landing Garret, Parson, Crosby or Lawrence I think you draft dline this year.

I think if you sign one of those DE you still draft a DT. If we get Lawrence I will be thrilled. From my limited watching of Michigan and his combine I want Grant and believe he might be there at 18 or 19 and we might be able to trade up for him.

I won't be surprised if the Bills might like Jordan Phillips - he is quite young and has physical talent.  They went that way with Tremaine Edmunds and Greg Rousseau.  I'm not saying at pick 30, but they might bet on his youth and physical talent in the late 2nd.  I think he has a wrestling background as well, but his arms are not the length that teams really want.

I could see it. I’d like Phillips to develop more than a bull rush as a pass rusher. It seems to be his go to and when he gets stoned with it he has nothing to counter.

Agreed. Mainly, outside of the tippy top vets mentions I cant see going anywhere but dline at 30.  Class is too good.

The price to move to 18 would be one of the Bills' 2nd round picks this year.  That's too steep, in my opinion, given how many needs the team currently has (DT, DE, CB, S, WR).

You very likely are correct but if he is really good he might be worth it, hopefully not another Elam.

Thats a big move costly move from 30. Possibly impossible if you landed one of the DEs on the list

Hey my thoughts don't all have to make sense, especially in the draft world. But that is a good point.
