RyanC883 Posted February 28 Posted February 28 I’m thinking DT Alexander could be the rd 1 pick at 30. 1 Quote

Fits this regime's type. 20 hours ago, HappyDays said: It's so hard to project that position beyond the obvious blue chips. What I like about Ezeiruaku is he had a ton of sack production and when you watch the highlights they aren't clean up or flukey sacks, he is flat out beating his man off the snap and bending to the QB. The short shuttle and 3 cone times show the pass rush ability isn't a mirage. Size like you said is a concern, a 6.94 3 cone isn't quite as impressive for a 6'2 player. You'd probably need someone like Rousseau on the other side so your edges aren't totally vulnerable. He fits the "type" of EDGE I'm looking for in this draft because his skill set complements what we already have, but Beane really just has to be right about whatever DL he inevitably picks high. The reason I think we might pick him is that Beane always picks an obvious need in the 1st round and he might go with a high floor player this time around given how his high ceiling swings have turned out over the past few drafts. Ezeiruaku's experience, developed pass rush repertoire, and character traits probably make him a pretty safe pick. I don't pretend to know the player. But conceptually I do very much like your thinking and logic here Do Bills keep AJ around if this is the pick? How would he compliment Myles G I wonder 🤠 Quote

Zero bull rush. Can't play the run (not just because of his size but because he loses contain frequently). He is bendy. I give him that. And I do like his hands. But I do not see a first round football player there at all. There are no Western Kentuckys on the NFL schedule. I think his ceiling is a situational pass rusher at the next level. That has value. Not first round value. If he made it to our second round pick (he won't) and we wanted to take a shot? Sure. I'd be fine with that. But he is a reach at #30. Brugler has loved him all along the road. I think he is wrong. Begs the question after your dissection Gunner. He is going in the first round? You dont think quite qualifies. Why is he a good pick in the second ? Needs an NFL season of Coach and training etc perhaps ? I don't know whether to like him or not lol. Will be 25 in August, didn’t become a starter at Toledo until his fifth year in college. He did show out at the Senior Bowl and has gotten buzz as a first rounder lately but I would be disappointed if the Bills took him early. 2 3 Quote

The Jokeman Posted March 2 Posted March 2 Tyleik Williams is the guy that be best option for the Bills. Gives them the two gapper needed to let Oliver rush the passer more and keep guys off of Bernard. 1 Quote
Dan in Owego Posted March 2 Posted March 2 They will be fortunate if Landon Jackson is there at pick 30, i'm not convinced he will be though. Quote

gonzo1105 Posted March 2 Posted March 2 I see Landon Jackson landing in mid round 2. His athletic testing was great and maybe someone takes a shot in round 1 but the tape doesn’t match the athletic profile Quote

He has a chance to be a stud in this league. Quote
