Umanmiellen’s 40 wasn’t quite where you would hope for a pass rush specialist, but from what I’ve seen, he should look loose and flexible in the drills.

Yea that was a disappointing run. He looked a bit gangly like the long levers almost slow him down. The rest of his testing was decent, so I would want to see him run again at his pro day but was definitely a sub par outing.

Surprised by both Shemar Stewart and Landon Jackson.

Both guys both dropped significant weight and showed up well in the testing.

I am still hesitant on Jackson as he seems so stiff to me. I still think he fits best in a 3-4 role. Although his 40 was good, his 10 yard split was not great. So he is a powerful athlete, but not twitchy or bendy in a way that I think will help him win in other ways than with power.

Agree on Jackson. I struggle with his fit. Not bendy or fluid enough to be a pass rushing edge, not consistent enough leverage to be 3-4 end. I ended up seeing him more as a 4-3 bigger, base end. But honestly it is going to need a creative staff with him to find his niche. Talented. Just don't know how you use him.

On Stewart.... he is super talented. I expected freakish testing and freakish testing is what we got. Think he probably moved up into the top 20 of the draft because if you can teach him some technique he is going to be a monster.

Nic Scourton has got to be the guy.

Yep. The fact he dropped his weight back down to his Purdue numbers suggests he was playing heavy at A&M's request in 2024. I think if he were there at #30 I'd have a real hard time passing.

Harmon looked solid and moved up in my board.  Pearce is going to be disruptive.

I’ve loved Harmon from the beginning. He’s a game wrecker. I was studying guys on tape going up against Oregon and he consistently pops.

I expect him to run under 4.8 as well, his tape throws people off i think in part to his body type being so tall and long levered. Not unlike a one JJ Watt at Wisconsin, still think he may sneak into the first round, someone like Dan Cambell is gonna fall in love with this kid.

I could totally see Campbell taking him. Actually think he is a nice fit for the way that D has played as a bigger base end opposite Hutchinson as well. DC change allowing obvs.

Is there a consensus height/weight for a DE in the Bills scheme?

Scourton at 265lbs at 30 is what I'd prefer at this moment.

David Walker looked impressive to me in the drills but more than likely doesn't possess the required build that Buffalo is seeking.

What ever it is.  I would like Buffalo to go 10% bigger at edge and DT.   The class is very deep.  Take the opportunity and take 2 of them.  Multiple options at either spot.

Moreso than height and weight, the Bills like to draft DEs with long arms. Since 2017, Boogie Basham had the shortest arms at 32 and 7/8 inches.

All other drafted DEs had a minimum of 33 and 7/8 inches (Soloman, Johnson). AJ and Groot who were the first picks in their drafts had 34 and 3/8 and 34 and 1/2 inch arms respectively.

Walker with sub 32 inch arms is probably a little too sawed off for the Bills.

David Walker is sawed off period but he’s a bull. A body type I really liked yesterday was Bradyn Swinson

Yea I've been a Harmon guy too. I wonder if his testing pushes him a bit out of our range.

Ezeiruaku just went 92nd percent in the short shuttle and 3 Cone drill proving his athleticism and shiftiness and bend combine that with long arms and a developed pass rush arsenal and you can see why I’m a lot higher on him than most on this board

I didn’t believe that was Matt when I saw Bills social media post it. Had to go back and look up his run myself. Looks quite different.

If (might be lucky) both Harmon and Scourton are available, who would you prefer?

He's just very polished and his drills yesterday proved that.

Regardless of his testing I thought his film was too good to make it out of the top 20.
