Prayers for him. Sounds like he is declining pretty rapidly.

The Vatican is an old, drafty hall. Not the best place for an 88-year-old with breathing issues.

Jackass response.

Factual response.

I don't wish for the guy to suffer, but he never should have gotten the gig. Not fit to tie the shoelaces of JP2 or Benedict 16. And I say this as a born and bred Roman Catholic.

Woke has NO place in our church and this bloke has brought it front and centre, whilst belting traditional Catholics over the head.

You’re completely wrong. A living example of Christ’s teachings and I say this as a cradle Catholic…

He preaches that we must show love and patience to all people. Absolute textbook example of Christ’s teachings. It was in yesterday’s gospel for Pete’s sake!

For Luke's sake

“But rather, love your enemies and do good to them, and lend expecting nothing back; then your reward will be great and you will be children of the Most High, for he himself is kind to the ungrateful and the wicked. Be merciful, just as your Father is merciful.” Luke 6:35–36

Yes, even magas.  but maybe not on PPP....

Anything in the gospel about being very pleased at the idea of ICE agents being murdered? I don’t think that is part of Christ’s teachings.

Imagine "Christian" Nationalists or trump attempting to live up to Luke's words.  most do just the opposite.  revenge is a recurring theme.

Doesn’t that part of Jeremiah seem a little ironic to you?  Isn’t that what MAGA and Trumpism is?  Like, exactly what it is?
