The sad…..

An NFL Championship banner will never be raised in that stadium…..but may be earned there.

But what a way to welcome in the new Highmark. 🏆 🏈🏟️

One of the best in Bills history- at the 1990 game when we overcame the Broncos in the 4th quarter to win.  The Broncos defense was TOUGH but the Bills was tougher.  The Bills scored 20 points in 77 seconds to earn the win 29-28.   The crowd willed the defense to these heights and it was THE game where 12th man was born.  Wow what a game!  Corny Bennett!

Grateful Dead I think 1993.  During the Sting opener, the crowds busted through the gate right below our noseblood seats.  You could see the ant-colony-like communication spread the word of the breach to the masses on the horizon sending everyone headed our way.  We had a state trooper helicopter hovering at our eye level while the mounties tried in vain to hold off the crowd (which included at least one naked guy) to no avail.

Think it might of been before 93 when sting was opener. I remember voniting sonewhere inside stadium that night on lawn but heard truckin start and had to rally so I could hear truckin up Buffalo. Made it and was fine rest of night. I think the encored with fought the law. Go Bills.

I WAS at that first game in Rich Stadium in August of 1973..80,200 fans...terrible traffic jams...my dad had bought 2 club level season tickets for $7 a piece per game.

As the roar of the crowd reached a crescendo right at kickoff, the Bills kicked to the Redskins to start the game...the ball went 2 yards deep into the endzone...where Herb Mul-Key promptly ran it back for a touchdown.

First pro football game I ever attended was at Rich Stadium! must have been 1978 or so.

My Dad got tickets thru work. Me, my younger brother and our best friend (who recently passed away) all high schoolers - along with my Dad (also gone too soon) piled into the pickup truck for the trip - four across the bench seat.

Lower level tix at about the 30.

Right in front of us: Curtis Brown scored a touchdown! “Talking Proud” blasted in the stadium. I remember it as Brown scored, it got called back by penalty, they ran the same play and he scored again. Launching the ball into the crowd in celebration…

i remember first entering the stadium and seeing the beautiful green turf and red end zones.
and the bathrooms had those weird big round sinks in the center of the room, just as low as a urnal. We walked up and though that was where you took wizz - till the guy next to us stepped on the foot pedal and water came out of the center and he started washing his hands. Then we noticed the troughs on the walls!🤪

I really wish they would be able to leave the Ralph up.. even if they removed the upper bowl and just left the lower

And still let the section 6 championship games get played there and they could have other local games too

War memorial had games played on its field till like 2001 at least.. I mean so many kids in Buffalo grew up playing on war memorial field as the home of the bills

I know they need the space for parking but it would be so cool because it's a landmark now in Western New York

That was 9/30/90. Was there. Have told this before. My dad was in the oncology ward at Mercy Hospital. The next day I went to pick up my mom who was visiting him all day at about 5 PM.  Told him about the game and we were ready to leave, Dad said he couldn't sleep and wanted to go to sleep. Suddenly, he starts coughing up blood(had lung cancer) and died a minute later.

my pet rabbit died that morning. Pales in comparison to that. Jesus.

Bills Patriots in 2011. I’ve seen several playoff wins over the last 30 years or so but nothing can come close to that game.

Probably my craziest memory from the stadium was a man falling asleep at the urinal in front of me while standing up peeing.
He was out cold we all just thought he was taking forever to piss and I had to shake him and wake him up.
