Heh, I have so many memories.

1980 or 81 Stones Start Me Up tour. What I did, the things I saw, wow! They let all of us in with a one gallon jug filled with your own choice of beverage. Most people walked in with a gallon of vodka or rum. Not to mention the weed and lsd that was prevalent that weekend. Thanks to a Grateful Dead concert at the Aud the night before.

Think about that. Grateful Dead one night and the Stones the next night. That is some ***** right there.

Saw so many wild things at the Stones concert. A guy out on guide wire that everyone was waiting for him to fall from but he made it back.

My first Bills game seeing Jimbo against the Redskins in 88? And a win.

The Monday night game against Dallas in 2016 or so?

I will miss the old girl but will welcome the new place. Saying that realizing it will never be the same. We are going to lose a lot of our identity and what we know as our existence. Cheers to Rich Stadium. For all it's issues, it has served us well.

They mentioned the traffic in that piece. That was more than my father had bargained for.  We were about 10 people away from the gate when the crowd started to roar before the inaugural kickoff…….. only to fall silent as Herb Mulkey returned it for a TD. I was disappointed before I ever even got inside!

Beating the Raiders on Monday night (thank you, Ahmad Rashad) is another experience that stands out, but one of my most eye opening experiences at The Ralph was seeing The Rolling Stones about 1975/76? I was a high school kid, and they had bedsheets hanging from the upper bowl with menus  of what kind of things they were marketing. I thought I had stepped thru the looking glass.

I saw the Stones and a bunch of others on July 4th 1978 there.  It was hot as can be that day and there were a lot of people there that day. As a kid from Elmira that rode in a van for 3hours while everyone but the driver was drinking it was a eye opener when we got there and people were totaled at 11am. We had some work to do lol.  I remember there was a late afternoon thunderstorm during the Stones and they walked off then people were pissed.  I think they came back but we left, saw a lot of good music that day

I have a coin given to my Dad and Mother for going to the inaugural game August 17,1973 against Washington.  I also have a card signifying that my Mother attended.."I WAS THERE- whereas the new Home of the Buffalo Bills in Orchard Park...........AND WHEREAS history has shown that at least 10 times that amount will claim to be in attendance on Opening Day..........and its signed by my Mother

I was also at both events. ‘74 opener Monday night with OJ out after early injury. The final minutes were not dissimilar to the 13 second game with several lead changes. I was also at first Bills’ Monday night game in Oct ‘73 against Chiefs.
The Stones concert was Aug 8 ‘75. One of the sheets hanging from upper deck was spray painted “Mick Jagger- Starf__ker”. I didn’t know then that it was the name of a Stones song. Also saw them July 4 ‘78 at Rich.

I was at the ‘78 concert as well. It was before my sophomore year in college in Cincinnati. Somehow a guy from my freshman year who lived in Decatur, GA (if he had said a few miles east of Atlanta we would have had an idea where that was) joined us for that one. I’m not sure how that came to be, especially since he was a one and done at college. I never saw him again after the concert very far from his home.

I was at that one too, but I have to admit you are much better with the details than I am!  😊

Went to two Summerfest concerts in 1974.

First one was Eric Clapton, who was drunk out of his mind and performance was shaky

Second one was ELP , James Gang and Lynryd Skynryd (sp?)   ELP was great. We sat on the field in the middle

of the quadrophonic sound system.  Some peeps in front of us imbibed in several substances and one guy was gonna get sick.

My buddy and I carried him to the First Aid area.  The people did not want to move so my buddy said "I think this guy is gonna puke."
And it was like the parting of the Red Sea.

Favorite game event  was when Jim Kelly's number was retired.  At first it was thought  Ralph was just gonna honor him in some fashion.

When the big flag / banner with #12 on it came down the stadium, people were cheering like crazy.

Taking my son in law to a game and him cooking on Kenny's Pinto was memorable.

Going to TBD tail-gaiting at Hammer's Lot was always a treat.

The time me and another 592,912 (claimed) watched in person as the Bills came back on the Houston Oilers.

Getting out of the lot after that game was a nightmare.

Not for me. Last car to leave the ECC lot.

I was at the game that Jerry Butler scored 4 TDs.  That is one of the first Bills games my Dad took me, and the first one I remember vividly

Jets vs. Bills in 1999

Started the night game off with a tailgate with Dre, Jonathan Linton and THE BEST LEAST TALKED ABOUT Bill ever, Leonard Smith. It was just crazy looking back on it and thinking that yes, I was amongst some of the greatest personalities in our history. Leonard Smith could have been our leader on defense for many more seasons, but injuries always seem to deprive us of top talent in the secondary. He was a beast.

After surviving fights in the stands and glowing over a huge win at night, I rolled out onto the concourse where I ran into Ralph walking right in front of me! If there ever was an epic GO BILLS moment then that was it! The old man was jubilant and judging by the look on his face he was just as pumped as I was.

After getting to the parking lot, I saw Keyshawn on the bus thoroughly pissed off and Parcells not happy at all.

What a memory.

Peeing in the troughs. Nothing beats it.

Peeing in the sinks is better

Reading about all these concerts, maybe instead of tearing it down they should put a roof on it and use it year round for concerts, they can make Billions..............wahahaha

I was on time to witness Herb Mul-key’s opening kickoff to open the stadium. I mention this because very few were. Also there for the Home opener vs the Jets. 9-7 Bills win.
