He will be 37 coming into this season so he's on the older side but not at an age where QB's don't produce at a very high level either. I do not understand why the Rams are very eager to move on from him. The Rams have a good opportunity to give him a 2-3 year extension on his contract and then draft a QB in round 2-3 and have an heir apparent who can sit for 2-3 years while Stafford keeps them very competitive. Just doesn't make much sense for the Rams to move on. But any team trading for him will be getting a very good QB. teams don't wait any longer to see if the high drafted QB is the real deal. If they do, they have wasted valuable time. They need to find out immediately if the new QB shows flashes to give them confidence in developing him for when he can be effective in year 3.(like Josh Allen for example). Bridge QB's are now a myth/legend. When they sign these so called Bridges they get benched early and the rookie goes in. Quote

The Rams recently won a SB with Stafford, and this year came close to beating the Eagles in the playoffs in Philly. LA has a 25 year old coach who is supposedly burned out already and wants to retire and go into broadcasting every other offseason, so this is just an odd situation all around. 25? Quote

machine gun kelly Posted Wednesday at 08:28 PM Posted Wednesday at 08:28 PM I never thought about the Raiders, but sounds like the Steelers aren’t interested at all. The Jets are a perpetual dumpster fire no matter who shows up there. The Raiders have some talent, and not good for us considering Carroll is a good coach. He may be the oldest coach in the league, but that guy is like the energizer bunny. Bad news for us on the Crosby front. The good news as mentioned above is even more competition for KC. LA, and Denver are real competition for them and if Stafford goes to Vegas, that’s a tough in division battle for the next couple of years. No more automatic 6-0 in division. With the weakness of their offense, we may see the end of their reign of terror. They will still be good for 11-12 wins. Quote
stuvian Posted Wednesday at 08:30 PM Posted Wednesday at 08:30 PM No way Stafford goes to a rebuild Quote
TheFunPolice Posted Wednesday at 08:30 PM Posted Wednesday at 08:30 PM The AFC could really use some more QB talent as a conference Soon a 5-12 NFC team will be in the playoffs Quote
Gregg Posted Wednesday at 08:31 PM Posted Wednesday at 08:31 PM I think he would be better off going to the Steelers than the Raiders as Pitt has a better team. Quote

They get any kind of production out of him then they will be challenging the Ravens and Bengals for the division. The Raiders I think will finish in last place. Until proven otherwise the Chiefs are still the "Chiefs" and both the Broncos and Chargers are better than the Raiders. It wouldn't shock me if one of them challenges the Chiefs for the division next season. 1 Quote

Stafford would make the Steelers a real contender in the AFC, barring injuries to their defensive players. They would be in the top 4 in the AFC with him, IMO. Chiefs Bills Steelers Ravens 1 Quote
Buffalo_Stampede Posted 9 hours ago Posted 9 hours ago Sounds like he’s going to Las Vegas or NY Giants. Raiders make a lot of sense. The AFC West will do the job for us and take down the Chiefs. That division will be strong. Quote
davefan66 Posted 5 hours ago Posted 5 hours ago Wonder if the Raiders are the favorite to land him based on a dome stadium? Quote
