i wonder if he's going to atlanta.  they have the young guy, so maybe not, but he's a real georgia boy.

the jets (they have no cap, right?) would be a horrible turn of events.  I don't want a team w their skill talent and D in our division w staffy.

pittz, ten, NO, minni (another one w a young qb so prolly not), could all use him.

Ok, so hear me out. Josh Allen and our next 2 first round picks for Matthew Stafford.

He is a Super Bowl inning QB. Josh can’t even get us to the Super Bowl. Enough said.

ARod actually makes some sense there. If he can check his ego. It's the same scheme as Green Bay.

Stafford is solidly better than Rodgers for some time now.   AR is anything but a "win now" proposition.  The scheme in GB was good for Rodgers for a while (2010 was million years ago) and it got better as soon. as he left.

If LA's idea of hard ball is dangling a broken down, bitter, sullen and apathetic Aaron Rodgers in front of Stafford's demands for a new contract....I bet Stafford's people's response is "ok..."

Giants have a desperate GM and head coach.

I don't get it...

The Rams recently won a SB with Stafford, and this year came close to beating the Eagles in the playoffs in Philly.

LA has a 25 year old coach who is supposedly burned out already and wants to retire and go into broadcasting every other offseason, so this is just an odd situation all around.

How long until someone here thinks it would be a good idea to get him as Joshs backup lol

Maybe we should trade Josh for Stafford and a 6th rounder as a stand up thing to do for our Hollywood bound superstar so he can make his fiancé happy. We do want them to be happy, right?

OK, maybe not.

I know Cowherd was talking about this trade weeks ago and the rumor was Stafford for the Giants third overall pick (assume other things would go in to balance it out for the Giants).

Basically Stafford comes to save Daboll and co.’s job and then the Rams presumably can get in range for there preferred QB, Hunter or Carter

I think the 3rd overall pick for an ancient QB to play for a team who can’t sniff the playoffs right now would get some people fired. Deservedly so.

Yea I certainly wouldn’t want that if I was Mara, that’s just one of the rumors I heard about Stafford.

The interesting one I saw floated was Tua + mild draft comp for Stafford.

McVay gets a younger QB to pair with their youth movement on that roster, Miami gets a win-now QB for their aging roster.

It would suck because Stafford is still legit when healthy.

imo, I don’t think Pittsburgh or any cold weather teams are in serious play. Stafford has played in nice weather/domes his whole career.

Other interesting play is Colts. They have run the older established QB carousel multiple times in a row. Rivers, Ryan, Wentz. With Richardson highly questionable to be the guy, it makes sense to save Steichen and try to win a weak division

Tua is one concussion away from a nursing home there’s no way anybody’s dumb enough to trade for that dude.

Backup?  Why not replacement?

We aren’t winning a Super Bowl with Hollywood Josh.

Depends on how Josh’s contract negotiations go. Throw in some 2nd round picks and I think Big Baller Beane/Bad Budget Beane/Bust Builder Beane pulls the trigger.

(Playing off the joke)

Kinda feel Stafford would prefer a dome team. Especially at his age.
