The interesting one I saw floated was Tua + mild draft comp for Stafford.

 

McVay gets a younger QB to pair with their youth movement on that roster, Miami gets a win-now QB for their aging roster.

 

It would suck because Stafford is still legit when healthy.

 

imo, I don’t think Pittsburgh or any cold weather teams are in serious play. Stafford has played in nice weather/domes his whole career.

 

Other interesting play is Colts. They have run the older established QB carousel multiple times in a row. Rivers, Ryan, Wentz. With Richardson highly questionable to be the guy, it makes sense to save Steichen and try to win a weak division

I think their real plan is to let Stafford talk to other teams regarding contract so he will accept a lower offer.

 

I doubt he’s traded. This is not dissimilar than Lamar negotiating with other teams for his contract years back. 
 

Rams have told Stafford and his reps, “if you want more money than what we are offering, see what other teams will give it to you.” Imo
