The interesting one I saw floated was Tua + mild draft comp for Stafford. McVay gets a younger QB to pair with their youth movement on that roster, Miami gets a win-now QB for their aging roster. It would suck because Stafford is still legit when healthy. imo, I don’t think Pittsburgh or any cold weather teams are in serious play. Stafford has played in nice weather/domes his whole career. Other interesting play is Colts. They have run the older established QB carousel multiple times in a row. Rivers, Ryan, Wentz. With Richardson highly questionable to be the guy, it makes sense to save Steichen and try to win a weak division 1 Quote

Mike in Horseheads Posted 5 hours ago Posted 5 hours ago How long until someone here thinks it would be a good idea to get him as Joshs backup lol 1 Quote
Big Blitz Posted 5 hours ago Posted 5 hours ago Sure why not the AFC could really use an upgrade at QB. 1 Quote
MikePJ76 Posted 5 hours ago Posted 5 hours ago I’ve read all week that it’s the giants that are interested. I guess they want him in that Kurt Warner 2004 role if they draft someone. or they can not draft anyone and go get more weapons and plug in Stafford for three years or so. Quote
mushypeaches Posted 5 hours ago Posted 5 hours ago If he went to the Pittsburgh, the yinzers would say that he's "warshed up" 2 Quote

QCity Posted 5 hours ago Posted 5 hours ago This seems very sudden. They were 1 play away from beating the Eagles. 1 Quote

I don't see anything on Tom's Twitter about this and nothing from Ian or Adam. Which is strange considering this would be huge news. Where did Tom say this? Quote

GunnerBill Posted 5 hours ago Posted 5 hours ago Hmmm. What would the Rams plan be? Blockbuster trade up for Cam? 1 1 Quote

I think their real plan is to let Stafford talk to other teams regarding contract so he will accept a lower offer. I doubt he’s traded. This is not dissimilar than Lamar negotiating with other teams for his contract years back. Rams have told Stafford and his reps, “if you want more money than what we are offering, see what other teams will give it to you.” Imo Edited 4 hours ago by FireChans Quote
QCity Posted 4 hours ago Posted 4 hours ago "The Rams have been in contact with his agent, but they've also given him permission to speak to other teams." "It certainly sounds as if the priority is for Stafford to return to the LA Rams" Sounds like slow offseason reporting. 1 Quote

It's the same scheme as Green Bay. Quote
