At 29, the Bills would be ultra negligent to not see what he has left.   Maybe he has a  few ten sack seasons left in him?

 

Bigger than I realized, at 6' 5" and 280 pounds. Also a good thing.

 

Beane and  the Bills will be careless if they leave any stone unturned when it comes to their D-Line.

I'd rather spend that money on a extension for Rosseau at least he stays pretty healthy and you can count on him for multiple sacks each year .

How many has a Buffalo player had since McDermott came here?  I can think of one and he was a one year rental.  That said there's no question he's missed a lot of time.  Seems to be the biggest concern most people have.

2016, 2017, 2019 & 2021 are his double digit sack seasons. 2.5, 6.5 & 5 are his sack numbers the past 3 seasons….he’s washed! Epenesa has more sacks than that over a 3 year span…19 vs 14!

Numbers can look different depending on how you present them.  Epenesa has played half a season more games than Bosa the last two years and barely has more sacks.  Tell me Bosa misses too much time and I'll say I get it.  Tell me he's washed and has nothing left I'm not so sure.  Not saying I'm right but if we don't draft someone or make a real move I wouldn't be upset if down the road in free agency we bring in Bosa on a one year deal (like we did Floyd) and see what he has left.

I've been throwing out the idea that Micah Parsons would be a good option. He's young, not really injury-prone (though he missed a few games this past year), and has a nose for the QB.

 

He's definitely a little over-hyped, but he would easily give us 12 - 15 sacks a season without issue.

He had 5 sacks in 14 games this season….he’s washed! The difference between him and Floyd is he’s not going to any team on a 1 year prove it deal….you’re gonna have to pay a premium on him for a 1-2 year deal. He’s not coming to Buffalo on a 1 year/$8-$10 million deal……more like a 2 year $30-$40 million deal which he isn’t worth right now!

Well, free agency comes before the draft, so I guess that would mean waiting one more year. I’m good with waiting one more year and letting him be hurt somewhere else. At least with Von it was an unpredictable ACL injury. That can happen, and you can’t see it coming. When Bosa next gets hurt  there will be cries of I TOLD YOU SO coming from all directions!
