And the team with the worst have won 2 Superbowls.

EDIT: look how low the Giants are!!!! And they have won 4 Superbowls in that time.

Having a Super Bowl victory 15 years ago would not have made me feel any better if we were a 7 win team last year.

The team with the very best winning percentage - the Steelers - have only had 3 coaches during that time.

Meanwhile, the Bills had 16.

Continuity matters.

You have cause and effect completely reversed.

8th…..

In the AFC.

And 14th overall. It's not that surprising. During the drought we were rarely at the bottom. We were endlessly 6-10 or 7-9. Not good enough for the playoffs, not bad enough for a high pick.

Also notice how the best is separated from the worst by only .200.

The Giants were horrible in the 70's. The Saints were horrible in the 80's and early 90's. The Bucs were the worst franchise in the NFL from their founding until the year 2000 or so. The Packers were terrible from Super Bowl II until they got Brett Farve. People forget how bad that franchise was for decades. The Cowboys were really bad in the 80;s and then again in the early 2000's (Quincy Carter anyone?). The Bills, even when they were a non-playoff team, were never really horrible except in the mid 80's when they went 2-14 in back-to-back years.

When we have been really good we have been really good even though that has been few and far between but even when we have been bad we usually were anywhere from 6-10 to 8-8 most seasons and we're hardly ever 2-14 etc etc.

Continuity only matters if you’ve been winning!

It would drive me crazy to hear Russ Brandon and others preach “continuity” with Dick Jauron and Chan Gailey football teams will 6 games a season.

Continuity for the sake of continuity alone is flawed

Agreed. Imagine where the Bills would be today if they had gotten rid of Rex, Whaley and Tyrod.

I shudder to think about the alternative.
