If Josh did not want to extend his contract and potentially leave, would you blame him?

I believe he also has alotta say in the direction of the organization. He has a say in draft picks. He wouldn't get that everywhere. They are close they just missing a playmaker or 2 on defense.

I do not think this is the most outrageous thought. Realistically the only path I really see this happening is the team regresses into the middle and becomes a fringe playoff team that stops being a real contender. IF that happens and Pegula refuses to fire McD which would be needed at that point then I absolutely think he could request out.

 

But the amount of dominos required to get there is pretty large and not worth really investing much emotion in.

 

The more interesting question is whether the Bills ride with Josh until he fades out like Big Ben or Eli.. or if they eventually move on late in his career like what happened with Brady/Peyton. Josh doesn't have the ego like Farve/Rodgers where he could muck stuff up pretty bad, but both NE/IND made decisions to try and reset as an org which in retrospect probably cost each another ring rather than going for broke.

It's hard for me to argue that Josh has been let down by the defense in key games, especially the playoffs.  You could also say that the Bills were outcoached in most of their playoff losses.  Add in being in the same conference as the Ravens, Bengals, Chiefs, and other improving AFC teams, it's not going to get any easier soon.

 

With being from the west coast and being engaged to a movie star, is it crazy to think it might make more sense for him to want to play out his contract and join a team like the Rams?  He would immediately become the NFL king of LA, have an offensive minded coach, and be closer to home.  I think his chances to get a ring would greatly improve, and he'd get to play in a dome where he excels.

 

To be clear, I don't want any of this to happen.  But if it did, I don't think I could really blame him.  Yes, the Bills took a chance on him, but he was still a top 10 pick and has paid the team and city back well beyond that.  I would hate it, but I would still support him. 

 

Josh Allen, right now is playing for one of the best-run and successful organizations in the NFL with solid ownership, a new stadium coming and a fantastic fanbase. 

 

If Josh leaves, hes a moron.

I would hope he goes public with his issues (coaching, defense, lack of #1 WR, etc.) prior to leaving.  Just leaving would do nothing.  At least state the issues, and let Pegs try to fix them.

Either his boyhood team 49ers or his current home, Rams.  I’ve said for a few years that’s where he would play out his final years.

 

I do think he loves the Bills, Fans, etc. But hey if you’re pegula and you want him to stay for the long term, don’t stop with making him the highest paid QB.  Give him a % of the team. Sure why not, be the first ownership to give the franchise QB a slice of the Bills and he will be involved indefinitely.

At this stage of his career, you would think he would appreciate someone saying, “Coleman is a clown.” While he may look impressive in highlights, our team of scouts evaluates his games thoroughly and has consulted with his coaches. As a result, we have decided to pass on him.

The whole defensive philosophy needs to be reimagined to win in the playoffs.

Are you suggesting that Allan would only be willing to play for the Chargers, or Rams, and that he would go out of his way to engineer a deal in one of those franchises? Seems like a stretch.

 

He doesn't have a home in LA now. And there really isn't a reason for Hailee to live there full time, either. Motion picture production is way down in LA, but even if it were booming, it's a part time gig for someone like her, and a lot of the productions she would be involved with wouldn't shoot in LA anyway. Even animation voice work is largely done remotely these days. There's no reason to live in LA full time. Plus, the city is a sh!thole. Trust me-- I live here.

LA may be a stretch.

 

But I thought So Cal was really nice about an hour outside LA.  I liked the Huntington beach area.

 

But close enough to LA to continue to grow her career but not in the middle of the city.

 

I know that Josh lives in Encino I believe and she is pretty close to there.
