Who on TBD has been married the longest ?

On the flip side of the thread about who has never been married it would be interesting to see who has been married the longest.

There are some long time Bills fans here , so I guess there should be some long time marriages.

My wife and I dated for about 4 years, then got married. It will be our 40th wedding anniversary this summer. Lou Gehrig pretty much wrapped up my feelings on our lives together.

In the other thread, i said about 40 years, but it's actually been 38 splendid, tortuous years to be exact.

“Total”? How many wives does a that entail? My parents worked with a couple who were married and divorced three times. He was leaving on a business trip and told her to be out of the house when he returned. There were two guns in the house, and she emptied both of them into him. There was a Dateline type of segment about Donna going off to prison. Charming couple. 

 

As I’ve mentioned, we had our 40th anniversary last Sunday. It’s just so hard to believe it’s been that many years.
