Agreed, the tried and true MAGAs will die on the hill while they lose not only their way of life but all of their rights and they won't understand it.  Then, there are the independents who are like the shifting sands.  Then, there are the actual conservatives who bite their lips and have told themselves that "Trump isn't that bad, I like most of his policies"...these are the people who really matter because what he's doing to the economy MASSIVELY affects their view of him and all republicans.  These are the people with gay kids and daughters who have abortions and whose wives work at schools so they can get cheap healthcare.  These republican will not stand for their money to evaporate and their business expenses to double.  They will vote blue in a heartbeat if they think it will save their $$.

The price increases haven’t hit yet. When the cost of a brake job doubles, car insurance rates increase to cover doubled repairs, flat screen tvs and a new laptop are out of reach, drinks in aluminum cans skyrocket etc even some stupid hardcore MAGAs will bolt. But he’s blinking big time so we’ll see. They don’t care about our relationships with allies though. Not smart enough to. Many have never left their home state.

The reason why there is so much hate for the orange man is because he won't bow to the status quo and take direction from those behind the scenes that none of us know about and have been imbedded in the swamp for years and have put this country in debt to the tune of TRILLIONS and I for one would rather have someone try something different than the norm that has put this country where it is today .

 

In the past politicians have allowed our country to be sold to the likes of China and want to continue down that path and companies like Monsanto, Dupont, Merc, and most of all big pharma have been pumping money in the back door of the gov't to EPA, FDA, to get what they want and to hell with what the people really need to stay healthy as long as they can continue to get rich but you along with others would rather leave it the way it is rather than go against the grain .

 

Kind of like sheep led to the slaughter which is why you will continue to follow that that has been the norm for the past 100+ yrs and just continue to sell out the country to communists & bank ruptured the country because the path that this country has been on sure as hell has been proven to be the wrong way run by people that sure as hell do not know how to run a business which the US is just that ...

 

I'd rather go down with a fight than be led to slaughter !
