I doubt any Trump voters care a lick about any damage they do. Remember, they voted for a rapist. Rapists get pleasure by hurting those they impose themselves onto. Sadists

No, they are loving hurting our country and the world. Bunch of vile losers

Yes but there are a lot that didn't like him but somehow thought a man who is a crook and filed for bankruptcy multiple times would be good for the economy. I laugh at the federal workers who voted for him that he fired.

This is why education is important.

Or the Venezuelans who voted for him, and then saw Ice agents swoop in and deport their loved ones

But still lousy approved ratings.

Americans got sucked into his DEI handwringing and voted against good economic policy in the hopes that Trump would cure inflation (difficult in a capitalistic system, and a mess for which he is culpable in the first instance), and bail them out of their own economic plights.

So far, he has done nothing to help the economy.  He golfs.  He wastes time on Fox.  He proposes crippling new taxes.  And he chases ghosts with respect to these millions of violent illegals that don’t actually exist.  But prices rise, gas gets more expensive, eggs are even more expensive,  and he fiddles while middle America burns.

What do you think are good approval ratings?

Gone are the days of anything approaching 60%

Were a 50/50 nation and most of each respective 50 is dug in… so much so, that your side is defending corruption and opposing government transparency.

Nobody said anything about an approach to 60.  He's not close to 50/50.  There are a large number of people who held their noses and voted for him, in spite of his myriad character and leadership flaws, because their personal finances are a train wreck. He offered the glib promise of a shortcut to those people.  And now it's actually getting worse because he's focused on golf, this ridiculous tariff idea, trying to hide his failures with respect to immigration, trying to explain away his broken promise on inflation, and a largely inconsequential social agenda.

This corruption you're talking about, too, is far worse under Trump than probably any administration since Grant.  The Trumps are monetizing this presidency through things like the Melania Amazon deal, the attempt to sell sponsorships for the film, the meme coin ripoffs, the Facebook "settlement," and the X "settlement."  It's a grift, plain and simple, and we're only a month in.  In the meantime, he's done nothing but ignore the working class.

The leopards are feasting, and it's only going to get worse.  Just wait until the recession hits and the job losses start.

Yea, meme coins are a grift.

Do you know why I don’t care?  Because dumb people buy them and if that’s what they want to do. So be it.

Do you know why I also don’t care.. Because you don’t have this same energy for Pelosi & co with insider trading.

Another reason I don’t care.. You have nothing to say about rando left wing organizations led by progressive leaders receiving 2B grants of taxpayer money, re Stacey Abrams.

Another reason I don’t care.. you want to eternally fund a war in Ukraine under

the guise of freedom as innocent Ukrainian and Russian men are fed to the wood chipper.   All with our tax dollars, so you can feel morally superior.

So yea.. Trump meme coins.. don’t lecture me on that when the default Dem position so far, 3 weeks in, is to continue to pour money into a forever war and defend government waste, abuse and fraud.

@Hank II Do you care about his turn to Russia? His higher taxes? Allowing Elon access to your tax records?

If the Democratic party was so worried about what Trump would do they would've run a better candidate than the person who came in LAST in the 2020 primaries.

But no response to the other grifts and shakedowns and the tariff nonsense.  And no response to the biggest point in the whole thing which is that Trump is frittering away his time and energy golfing while doing nothing for the working class.  All of these are clues as to why he’s underwater only 30 days into this presidency.

Also, on the  waste, abuse, and fraud, you’d think if it was so prevalent that the “smartest guy on the planet” would have found something by now.  But still no specifics.  You guys like to toss “fraud” around without any actual, you know, proof.

I'll take that as encouragement for Trump to do even more and pick up the pace.

Let's do it!

It’s hard not to do more when he’s done basically nothing.

This complaining sound like the people in NY who complained about Pataki back when he was elected, complaining when he did exactly what he said he would do. Unrealistic people will always be upset regardless of the situation.

Then why are you complaining if everything is the same as if Biden was president?

I don't believe I'm complaining about anything.  The conversation considers Trump's lousy approval rating.  I pointed out that it may be because he's a corrupt, do-nothing, vapid president.  He fritters his time and energy on the golf course, while the angst of the middle class that he exploited and that got him elected is ignored.  Actually, it's probably made worse by his talk about tariffs and the idiotic firing of the people who work on the bird flu.  But hey, we stopped "DEI" (whatever that is) and the probably 100 trans who play girls high school sports can't do that anymore.  Great stuff.

And, I'll turn it around on you.  You complained a LOT during the Biden presidency.  But crickets now.  When nothing meaningful has been done to address the issues raised about the Biden presidency.  The price of eggs! (guess what, higher now) Not deporting violent illegals!  (not now getting done) The price of gas! (also going up) Inflation! (going up) Stop the steal! (shockingly, no investigation about that now, because it was all BS in the first instance). Those horrible Haitians! (turns out we need them because the MAGA methheads in Ohio don't show up to work). They're eating the cats and dogs! (BS then, and BS now)

However Trump may end up being, Harris was going to be much worse, hands down. There was so much deep seeded corruption and chaos in the last administration and I feel like we don't know most of how bad it really was just yet.

If you want to ask if people regret picking Trump in the primary, it may be a valid point, but there is almost no one who voted for Trump who is saying "Gee, I sure wish I picked Harris instead".  The country rightfully got rid of the Biden/Harris two headed monster. Whether or not it goes from bad to good or bad or another type of bad remains to be seen, but any chance under Trump was better than the 0% chance of turning things around that we would have had under Harris

You’re argument is falling on deaf ears.

It’s not breaking through because nobody truly expected him to fix these things on Day 1, despite his constant grandiose statements.  We’re 3 weeks in and yall sound so ridiculous whining about prices when he’s barely been in office a month, this metric is a lag indicator, not a lead … and your side spent years gaslighting the public on “nothing to see here” re: the economy.

So you’ll flail on nonsense like your random Haitian comment that nobody cares about or doubling down on a 90/10 issue in trans/womens sports.

Please… go on.   You’re lost in the wilderness and stand for nothing but niche issues and incessant whining.

For a guy not complaining you seem to be complaining about a lot of things. And for things that haven't changed you seem to have have listed several that have changed.

He hasn’t done anything meaningful.  And he isn’t helping the people who got him elected.  Say what you will, but he’s making exactly the same mistakes that democrats made last cycle.
