For you to believe that you also have to believe that he has been dogging it a bit at times because his team is bad IMO. Because while his numbers are definitely hurt by his QB play there were times this season when he was lazy, didn't run his route with enough urgency to be in the right spot and dropped balls he should have caught if there was any contact at all from defenders.

 

But he unquestionably is right to ask for top 5 money. Super talented.

A burner/deep threat goes against the idea of complimentary football, it puts the Defense back on the field too quickly. We need chain movers, guys with great short burst to get open quickly and can catch the ball.

 

After re-signing Shakir, next on the Bills WR list needs to be Mack Hollins, he gets open, he catches the ball and he's a team leader.

I always love these threads, we’re 10 mill over the cap, the GM said we’re not going to be big spenders and the list contains nothing but highly paid guys who are past their prime in most cases

Beane said in his presser his calculation is we are down to only about $4m over, but there is more work to do.
