The correct answer is Courtland Sutton. Boundary, not too costly, and he is productive.

And the better question...why would Denver trade him? They made the playoffs last year with a rookie QB and solid defense. That's not a team that's selling off parts to rebuild. Giving up their best WR who has a great on field relationship with Nix makes zero sense.

if those are the only options, try to sign Cooper to something reasonable and trade up into the 3rd round of the draft for a burner.   Thats about it.

Go upgrade the defense.   Get a man corner in FA and draft a very large DT please.

I just figured we were getting Darius Slayton from the Giants. Then a game wrecking edge in Garrett or Crosby. Heck swing for the fences and get Sexy Dexy from Giants in a package with Slayton too. That would work!

Absolutely! If we're gonna make a splash move I think it should be the interior. I'd send Elam and AJE along with this year's 1st and next year's 2nd....whatever it takes.

We could maybe get Slayton for a Gabe Davis type deal.

We could use a speed boundary guy that can separate and catch the ball, who that is I don’t know,

what we do need is a revamped defensive scheme, an azs kicking D line and an above average CB,

if by some miracle this happens we will be back in the battle…, jmo.

I would love Adams after he is inevitably cut, seems like he gets forgotten about a lot in these discussions because he's not officially a FA yet. Jeremy Fowler reported he would prefer to return to the west coast though and listed both LA teams and San Fran as options. I suppose if we really want him we will just pay him whatever it takes. Adding him would make us much less desperate at the position heading into the draft. It feels like the most logical move honestly.

Money talks.   If Beane's number is higher than the others I'm sure D Adams would easily be able to change his story.  It doesn't take Chatgpt to come up with a story line for him taking the money and going to the Bills.

As for cost, I think it would be less than the cost of DK or Kupp, - and not involve any draft capital.

The downside is, it's not a long term solution - like the DK dream is.

Here's the thing.

We kinda had one early in the season last year in MVS. As we saw when we cut him and he went to New Orleans, he can still play. He can still separate.

Problem really is two fold. Number one, the way defenses play Allen and the Bills kind of prohibits a deep stretch the field WR from getting open. And number two when he does finally get the look for that kind of play, Allen is not an accurate deep ball thrower. Never really has been his strong suit.

Didnt he say he hated buffalo and its fans?

I imagine he ends up with the chargers or something.  I guess maybe wherever rodgers goes.

Maybe they are co h0sting a podcast next year together solving pressing world issues while eating taco bell.

Do you really think offering those 2 guys makes the trade more valuable???

I had no idea that Cooper Kupp’s four years OLDER than DK Metcalf. I’d have actually bet it was the other way around. Go figure!

5 years of school will do that to you.

Darius Slayton or Dyami Brown could fill this roll, I prefer the first as a bit more proven and possibly more reliable.

Literally zero of these names excite me except for DK.

I'm sure most of us weren't wowed by Mack Hollins name last offseason either.

I'm guessing even Adams is sick of the Rodgers circus by now. He has one last chance at a big payday so I'm sure he'll follow the money.

I would rather have Garrett.

💯

I asked because both Garrett and Metcalf will both cost high draft picks and demand huge extensions.  I don’t see both of them happening, but you never know.

That's a nice list, however I don't see the Bills in on too many of them. With the way Brandon Beane looks at Free Agency a lot of the time, I suggest that the WR we end up with isn't even a FA yet. Watch for WRs that become cap casualties over the next few weeks. They can be signed and not count against the comp pick formula...which seems like something Beane has been paying attention to the last few years.

My name to watch is Christian Kirk. They have Thomas and Gabe Davis is locked in with a big contract. With a new coaching staff in Jacksonville it would make some sense for them to drop Kirk and get the cap savings. I really think if he gets cut he would be firmly on the Bills radar.

Kirk would be interesting, the positives with Kirk as you mentioned is that if he's cut he's not gonna come super expensive (most likely) and won't count against the comp pick formula. He also will be 29 next season so there's a positive. I also think there is a positive aspect in that he's got some speed and has been fairly productive.

The negatives with Kirk are that he's been banged up the last two seasons. After a really solid opening year with Jacksonville where he got his first 1k yard season he's missed 14 games. He also was never a consistently dynamic WR either although he's been very good at times. Certainly a name to keep an eye on.
