A good number of players who don't get invited to the combine end up being draft picks, so a prospect who is likely to be a UDFA not being invited is normal even if he's an All-American. Quote

He didn't address that much, though he agreed it was weird. But he did say that that plenty of scouts will be attending UB pro day and that's what really matters. A concoction called the Player Selection Committee decide who goes largely based on who they think is draft worthy. For whatever reason, they don’t think he is. Quote
