Agreed.  A good number of players who don't get invited to the combine end up being draft picks, so a prospect who is likely to be a UDFA not being invited is normal even if he's an All-American.

The last 49 AP All Americans have been invited to the combine.. he's the only one 

 

There are undrafted guys who go to the combine so yeah it's a snub

On a whim yesterday I called into One Bills Live and asked Chris Brown what he thought of Dolac and his snubs. He didn't address that much, though he agreed it was weird. But he did say that that plenty of scouts will be attending UB pro day and that's what really matters.

Which is absurd. He's a first team all American, MAC defensive player of the year, and he led all of FBS in tackles. Now tell me why he doesn't deserve a spot on a senior all star team or combine invite? If anything those "experts" don't know S##t.

Maybe so, but they don’t decide who goes to the combine. A concoction called the Player Selection Committee decide who goes largely based on who they think is draft worthy. For whatever reason, they don’t think he is.

Jeff Foster is in charge of the combine and the people invited and he has five employees ... Not many.. he's the president of National football scouting/NFL combine 

 

Jeff Foster worked in the NFL but he was not a scout ..  and yeah they try to compile the best list for the combine but that doesn't mean it's perfect

 

Again 50 straight AP all-americans have went .. so if you're the one out of the 50.. that's certainly is off

Foster also talked about how.. if there's one position that gets drafted from someone who didn't get invited to the combine this year.. he said he thinks it will be a linebacker
