ChevyVanMiller Posted Monday at 12:33 AM Posted Monday at 12:33 AM Getting ready to watch the SNL 50th Anniversary special and the wife asked me if I thought Josh would be asked to host now that he’s a league MVP? I thought it was a good question, so I will pose it to you. I think he would nail it like Peyton Manning did. I also think that having a Hollywood starlet for a fiancée ups his chances, considering how much SNL likes cameo appearances. 3 1 Quote
NewEra Posted Monday at 12:38 AM Posted Monday at 12:38 AM Haha. Nice thought. He’d be sensational. Forgot SNL existed but that’s something I’d love to see. He’s a natural 4 Quote
Kirby Jackson Posted Monday at 12:39 AM Posted Monday at 12:39 AM (edited) I’m thinking yes for all of the reasons mentioned. He’s an obvious for it. They love sports stars and he checks lots of boxes. I’m getting ready for SNL50 now!! Edited Monday at 12:40 AM by Kirby Jackson 5 Quote
BuffaloBillyG Posted Monday at 02:37 AM Posted Monday at 02:37 AM He just might. He's definitely got the personality. I could even see Dawkins appearing along side him in a skit. 1 Quote

He’s a natural Agreed, he'd be great. And I'd watch SNL for the first time since I can remember. I'm just skeptical that's something he'd have any interest in. He's great when he's in the spotlight, but I don't get the impression he seeks it out. 1 Quote
Buffalo_Stampede Posted Monday at 03:05 AM Posted Monday at 03:05 AM (edited) NFL script writers need to hurry up and give him a Super Bowl. We’ve waited long enough. Then he can do SNL. Edited Monday at 03:06 AM by Buffalo_Stampede 2 2 1 Quote

I just don’t think he has to seek it out. It will seek him once he’s a champion. 2 Quote

No doubt about not having to seek it out. But Dak got more national exposure out of those Chunky commercials than I recall Josh ever getting and that was without an MVP or championship. I'm guessing Josh has already passed on opportunities. 1 Quote
17islongenough Posted Monday at 03:39 AM Posted Monday at 03:39 AM They can have Allen host and then have Hailee be the musical guest. 4 Quote
Utah John Posted Monday at 04:45 AM Posted Monday at 04:45 AM I still remember Jim Brown walking away from the NFL to go make movies. 60 years later, the Browns still haven't recovered. Let's not go getting thoughts like that in Josh's head. 2 Quote

Nah, what am I saying. The NFL is completely legit. 1 Quote
That's No Moon Posted Monday at 06:42 AM Posted Monday at 06:42 AM Why does this matter and how does it help the Bills win? It doesn't? Then I don't care. 1 Quote

Mr. WEO Posted Monday at 12:46 PM Posted Monday at 12:46 PM Tarkenton is the only non SB winner NFL player to host. All the rest had rings. Alex Karras doesn't count because he was already an actor with multiple credits. Quote
