Getting ready to watch the SNL 50th Anniversary special and the wife asked me if I thought Josh would be asked to host now that he’s a league MVP? I thought it was a good question, so I will pose it to you.

I think he would nail it like Peyton Manning did. I also think that having a Hollywood starlet for a fiancée ups his chances, considering how much SNL likes cameo appearances.

I’m thinking yes for all of the reasons mentioned. He’s an obvious for it. They love sports stars and he checks lots of boxes. I’m getting ready for SNL50 now!!

Haha.  Nice thought.  He’d be sensational.  Forgot SNL existed but that’s something I’d love to see. He’s a natural

Agreed, he'd be great. And I'd watch SNL for the first time since I can remember. I'm just skeptical that's something he'd have any interest in. He's great when he's in the spotlight, but I don't get the impression he seeks it out.

I hear ya.  I just don’t think he has to seek it out.  It will seek him once he’s a champion.

No doubt about not having to seek it out.  But Dak got more national exposure out of those Chunky commercials than I recall Josh ever getting and that was without an MVP or championship. I'm guessing Josh has already passed on opportunities.

I still remember Jim Brown walking away from the NFL to go make movies.  60 years later, the Browns still haven't recovered.  Let's not go getting thoughts like that in Josh's head.

NFL script writers need to hurry up and give him a Super Bowl. We’ve waited long enough.

Then he can do SNL.

I'm thinking the order might be reversed.  Maybe the script writers would be more favorable for getting the Bills a Lombardi, if Allen gets established as an entertainment star.

Nah, what am I saying.  The NFL is completely legit.

Sorry don't mean to be a SH but since a long time ago that show hasn't been very funny so i don't watch and don't care but 50 yrs to be on TV is a long time and it use to have some very funny people .

I know this is dating myself but I loved Rosanne Roasanna danna & Belushi were some of the best !!
