My BIL has turned into a typical bureaucrat and it is depressing to watch. He is truly a good guy but to justify the actions he has taken over the past 15 years he is doubling down on being miserable. He currently hates his job, he is currently in basically a third world country, his family is back in the US, and he has told us previously that his job does not use his skills well. He was offered the buyout and instead of taking it he is acting like it is principal that is keeping there and not simply the money. It is unfortunate because several of him coworkers are pretending the same thing.

Principal that is keeping him there.  Great stuff.  Maybe we should abolish the Department of Education.

Definitely would have come out by now.  They tried every bit of lawfare they could.  They even tried killing him.

And yeah, I remember when they revealed that he was on that plane.  It went over like a lead balloon.

How the f are republicans helping with that?  I agree that the current debt levels are unsustainable.  But republicans want to increase debt,  keep tax cuts for the super rich, and spike inflation with tariffs.  The whole thing is profoundly stupid.

Sounds like most of the debt is going for programs we don't need and workers who are barely working.

Fortunately Trump/Musk have made that a high priority.

Any specifics?  Or just Twitter talking points?

Same old playbook.  Take a screen cap that tries to show you what you want it to show, but in reality it doesn't.

You should take this up with the right-wing social media influencers; they're the ones who unanimously called Barrett a traitor and celebrated Trump's refusal to shake her hand.
