Jimmy Harris 69 Posted Sunday at 07:13 PM Posted Sunday at 07:13 PM (edited) I would rather the Bills develop Hardy and the CB’s we draft and sign this year. White’s play was such a liability the Rams couldn’t keep him on the field. He cost them a couple games. The Ravens were desperate but made LA retain salary. Perhaps if he sits out another year and tries to regain his strength and speed he could try in ‘26. He is a good dude but these injuries have robbed him of his ability. ghostwriter Posted Monday at 12:57 AM Posted Monday at 12:57 AM Yes and no. If he’s making vet minimum I wouldn’t have a problem with it. Quote
LABILLBACKER Posted Monday at 08:28 AM Posted Monday at 08:28 AM We all luv Tre but he was washed the day the Bills released him. His play as a Ram / Ravens only validated that. He's done, those 2 injuries ended his career. Quote
SoMAn Posted Monday at 11:43 AM Posted Monday at 11:43 AM (edited) Not as a player who ever sees the field, but maybe as a practice squad, suited-up mentor - in a similar way that Hyde was used last season. But really, not much need there either. Supposedly, Hyde was brought in later the season to coach up Bishop, who was likely to get playing time. The Bills have been following the old Patriots model of 'better to cut them loose a year too early than to keep them a year to long'. Good scouting, development, and player attrition are the keys to keeping a team fresh and not over-extending veteran contracts, unnecessarily challenging the salary cap. Bring Tre back to lead the pre-game cheers as The Legend of the Game - in full goalie gear. Edited Monday at 11:49 AM by SoMAn because i said so Quote
Magox Posted Monday at 12:01 PM Posted Monday at 12:01 PM He had a number of good snaps with the Ravens, he can still provide good coverage on a number of receivers and you can see that his technique and physicality against them is still there. The problem is when he goes up against burners that he doesn’t have the juice specially when they make cuts to be able to keep up against them. I don’t know if he would be willing to sign on a vet minimum deal but personally I’d rather go with building this team through draft and udf contracts along with your impact players. Quote

Guy is a complete waste of a roster spot. Honestly, would rather have Tre White if I had to choose. I think I heard it on Joe Marino’s podcast that it costs a significant amount more to cut him rather than keep him, so be prepared for more Elam ☹️ Quote
frostbitmic Posted Monday at 01:49 PM Posted Monday at 01:49 PM Yes I would ... As a one day signing so he can retire a Buffalo Bill as he should. 1 Quote

BisonBilly Posted Monday at 07:10 PM Posted Monday at 07:10 PM This regime kept Josh Norman around until he had a foot in the grave. I’m sure they’d love to bring Tre back. He’d be a great vet for the young guys to learn from. id like him back too Quote
