yep.  I don't put much weight on rookie seasons.  Rookies' bodies just aren't ready for the NFL; for example, I expect D Carter to come back stronger, around 320 at 6'3" and be the monster he flashed a bit this past season.   I expect Coleman to come back smarter and pick up right where he left off in Seattle b4 Poyer cheap-shotted him.   These two came out as 21 year old college juniors.   Same for Bishop; physically that guy can play anywhere in the back 5.  Give them a chance to get an NFL body/smarts on themselves b4 judging them.

I'd love to build a dream team of other teams superstars, but that is not happening with what is about to be a $60m+ per year QB (who has a few flaws of his own) cap hit.   It is a continual process of draft and develop, IMHO.

The overreaction to rookie seasons is both laughable and maddening.

We all remember when people were saying how awful Eric Moulds was. More recently how terrible Spencer Brown and Terrel Bernard were. Now Dalton Kincaid and Keon Coleman are busts.

I get it, not all players work out, it happens. Some fans just refuse to let players develop and improve because they want instant all-pro success.

Believe me, I know all about DK. I’m in the PNW and unfortunately the Seahawks are on here EVERY. WEEK. I agree that he’s a stud.

I was also probably the most outspoken person on this board wanting him over EO in that draft, so I like him plenty. My POV isn’t that we shouldn’t go for him, just that we have limited resources to fill a lot of holes this offseason, and trading 2 picks AND taking on his big $# severely limits our abilities to affect the other needs.

I understand what you mean, but for me I don't care about draft picks this year.

The Bills can win a championship this coming season. Get as many proven players as you can, and worry about draft picks in 2026.

For the Bills, the future is NOW!

I understand your point that players take time to adjust to the NFL and to develop, and that fans get impatient with the need for development.

But it seems to me there's a valid counter-point that other teams get immediate strong contributions, especially from their 1st round and Day 2 picks - and that one difference between the Championship teams and the Bills, may be the lack of such immediate contributions.

Fun fact about BJ Hill, who I think is a good fit, is that his position coach at NC State was Ryan Nielsen.

100% with you -- if it were up to me, I'd be using every draft pick I could on player upgrades, not rookies. I just think we need to make 3 or 4 moves with those picks, and there's obviously only a limited number we have at our disposal, so I'd be for doing what's necessary to use those picks as economically as possible.

Without looking at the cap ramifications, I'd be looking at packaging Rousseau with a pick or two for Garrett or Crosby; Keon and another pick for DK, etc.

No sense going all in on one deal if you can swing 2 or 3!

Some teams get all the luck in the world.

I agree. The team needs to solve the finer points to winning. Now. Perhaps some have already forgotten how close we were to beating the chiefs. and who did we beat the previous game ?

Bills are getting closer to being just a couple players away. For Real , and I dont like that type of thinking generally.

I have 3 priority positions on my list as noted in threads throughout this forum. And two more i wish to be upgraded and secured with starters

 Only one is on Offense

Who am I   lol

Just saw a blurb on the Bills being the betting favorite to land D Adams (per Sportsbetting.ag) with 3/1 odds.  I like it!

How much is he worth now ?

and what about him following Rodga's around some more ?

Higgins is out.

Bills need to choose wisely and well here.

 What's Josh think :)

I find Dyami Brown interesting but it feels like he will get more than he is worth. He’s supposed to be a deep ball specialist. He’s got speed but it isn’t that elite speed. He finally came around in Kingsbury’s vertical attacking offense and finished really strong, but up until that point he hadn’t done much.

Is he fit for what we perceive as a need a deep ball threat? Yes. Will the Bills actually seek out a player like that? I don’t think so. Brown does not fit the offense as currently designed. Beane and McDermott probably saw the dude play in high school down in Charlotte, so maybe they are fond of him, but I am not sure it’s the move they make.

Good catch as was Kentavius Street who was also a member of that NC State defensive line who has played for Nielsen in New Orleans and Atlanta. He might be a decent depth signing.

Milton Williams? 25 years old. 3yrs 36 bucks. Good year for DL draft and the Bills will probably take a couple, but usually takes a year or two before these guys transition. Williams young, good to go and coming off a breakout year.

Could you imagine a defensive player to root heavy for like we do for JA17 on offense?! Another player with the significance and dominance of a BS78…! Haven’t had that in looooong time. Let’s go, Bills, get ‘er done! Gimme a defense player to love

I tried to worship Milano...I really did.

He's coming off a career year and Super Bowl ring. Let someone else over pay for him as he small at 290#
