K D Posted February 14 Posted February 14 McDaniel's favorite player. I think they will be fine with Achane Quote
BuffaloBill Posted February 14 Posted February 14 Sadly, there is a definite shelf life for the majority of RB’s in the NFL. It’s part of what the Bills have to consider when paying someone like Cook. 10 1 3 Quote

But he had over 1,000 yards and 18 TD on 4.8 yards per carry in 2023...........basically the same year James Cook had last year(statistically at least).........by James Cook logic and the logic of some here on TSW that should have warranted a 4 year extension worth $50M to $60M. Do not pay RB's. Edited February 14 by BADOLBILZ 6 9 1 4 Quote
wppete Posted February 14 Posted February 14 He will end up back in SF and have a great season. Happy he is not with Miami anymore. Great player. 3 1 Quote
947 Posted February 14 Posted February 14 Nobody is gonna pay Raheem Mostert any more than the vet minimum at his age, he's done. Raheem Mostert always lied about his age! He lied about his age all the time! One time, Frank Sinatra came in here, and sat in this chair. I say, "Frank, you hang out with Raheem Mostert. Just between me and you, how old is Raheem Mostert?" Know what Frank told me? He said "Hey, Raheem Mostert is a hundred thirty-seven years old." A hundred and thirty-seven years old! 6 Quote

This got off-track pretty quickly. 3 Quote

Jerome007 Posted February 14 Posted February 14 RBs are often big stars, second or third after the QB. Yet, their careers are very short, and most OLinemen are paid more. OLinemen don't get enough credit, but at least they get paid! 1 Quote
MJS Posted February 14 Posted February 14 He is ALWAYS injured. Other than that he is a good back. Quote
H2o Posted February 14 Posted February 14 He'll end up back in SF. He and McCaffrey can take turns on IR. 1 5 Quote
harmonkillebrew Posted February 14 Posted February 14 Injury and fumble prone. And old. The opposite of Cook. No comparison 1 1 Quote
Warriorspikes51 Posted February 14 Posted February 14 This guy had 20 TDs? In 2023? Right? he wasnt really given the ball last season despite being active for 13 games for those saying he’s never healthy… he has played in 16, 15 and 13 games the last 3 years. 32 years old could be mean he’s done But I’d sign him for the summer just to see Quote

It was funny watching Dolphins glaze him after re-signing Mosert in the offseason. He’s a 30 year-old back with injuries and a history of fumbling. Miami made the right choice 1 Quote
Warriorspikes51 Posted February 14 Posted February 14 Miami preparing to try and acquire James Cook?🤪 Cook for Waddle seems like a fun idea 1 Quote

But I doubt he ends up leading the Fins in carries or yards next year. Guy is made of glass. Jaylen Wright, their 4th rounder from last year will end up playing more IMO.
