Well, one of the biggest Bills' busts ever was their first round pick (#19) out of Clemson in 1982, wide receiver Perry Tuttle.

He had 107 yards his first year, then 261 in 1983, by far his best year as a pro. Then, cut or traded, and in his 3rd best year in the NFL he caught 1 pass for 7 yards.

Went on to have a good career in the CFL, but no one cares, at least in our country.

His nephew, Shy Tuttle, is in his 6th year playing DT for Carolina, formerly New Orleans (who drafted him). Perry is seen in town one in a while.

This is the right answer. When he left the Bills he was statistically the worst QB ever. He should have never been put in the first place and the next year he shouldn’t have been an option to start.

This is where McDermott was out of his league. Dennison may have been the OC at the time, I can't remember. But it was absolutely horseshit to have put Peterman in the Chargers game. The locker room tone changed with McDermott at that point and was finalized in the 13 seconds game.

We had to rebuild the roster by getting rid of good guys because they saw through him.

Another criteria for worst draft pick would be who disappointed the most. For me, that would be Mike Jasper, a 400-pound offensive lineman who could dunk a basketball. What could go wrong?

Got to take flyers in the 7th round

Cyrus Kouandijo sticks out to me. Talking all tough after he fell in the draft because of bad knees… and his knees were bad alright.

Maybin is up there too. Every single BILLS fan knew he was a 1 year wonder at Penn State. Maybin was undersized and unplayable against the run. And yet the BILLS draft him 11th overall.

This is the only answer. For the hype he got to be a reasonable backup, a potential impact player as a one day starter - the dude was a bum.

It’s hilarious Billy Joe admitted he didn’t study the playbook. Then Marv in a press conference said he appreciated Billy Joe’s honesty and then cut him for his incompetence. What a fall from grace from the SB years.

I dunno, when Reggie Bush left the Bills he had fewer rushing yards than what he started with. 😆

1st person came to mind was "Friggin Lonnie" (Johnson).  Next who immediately came to mind & others have mentioned is BJ Hobart.  Peterman played one game where I think he was literally the worst statistical QB ever.

It was a great pick. Just fun, even if it didn't work out.

How about Marcel Dareus? If you want to consider "worst" to be the worst considering where he was picked, you can make an argument for Dareus, who was just a warm body when it came down to it. Third pick of the 2011 draft, followed immediately by three future Hall of Fame players: AJ Green, Patrick Peterson, and Julio Jones.

It's gotta be Maybin. When you draft a pass-rushing DE with the 11th overall pick, and fails to ever record one single sack for your team...I mean, it can't get much worse.

I never realized he did not have one sack for Buffalo L O L. That really does take the cake.

Like right away getting in fights with Eric Wood who was yelling about all the money he didn’t earn.

Boogie Basham, Reggie Ragland and Roscoe Parrish were all pretty worthless 2nd round picks.

Roscoe Parish I would argue with you. He had some great returns.

Reggie Bush ran for negative yardage for the Bills

I legitimately told anyone who would listen when he was coming out of college that he was going to be “the Michael Jordan of football” 🤣😭
