Ed Wang was one of the worst draft picks I’ve ever seen this team make.

Nate Peterman for sure.

Another Buddy Nix era player Duke Williams was terrible.

Torell Troupe.

Wang was a total PR move to get Chinese fans. Had Russ Brandon written all over it.

It's gotta be Maybin. When you draft a pass-rushing DE with the 11th overall pick, and fails to ever record one single sack for your team...I mean, it can't get much worse.

He never got 1?  Christ almighty 😳

Just watch a clip and obviously people are picking players that either blew a big game or were just bad  (Peterman, Norwood, JP Losman were some of them).

I know most on here would probably throw out some better names like Erik Flowers and Aaron Maybin but it left me thinking.  Is Elam approaching the threshold?  I would say he could be if you were talking about "worst pick of all time" but in terms of player, he has been boom or bust.

Offseason topic since everything is slow so would be interested to see how everyone feels.

Trent Edwards. Losman at least had a beautiful deep ball, better than Josh Allen’s if I’m being honest. That Lee Evan’s deep ball connection was lethal. Trent Edwards played the position in the most boring way possible. Same with EJ Manuel. Boring players. Exactly why I love dudes like Fitzpatrick who took chances and let his guys make plays. Didn’t always work, but gave the Bills a fighting chance in every game. When Fitz was on, boy he was one of the best. When he was off….God, save us all.

Are you strictly talking about Bills draft picks, or any Bills player?

So the question was "who is the worst bills player of all time?"  Didn't specify trades, draft pick, FA signing.

Listening again, I do kind of like Cody Ford a bit.  Gave him every opportunity to start and was just trash from start to finish.

Derek Fine was absolutely atrocious as well.

25 year old rookie who ran a 4.85 40-yard dash, 29” vertical.

4th Rounder!

Fun fact, he’s a P&C producer now with my company. As leaders, we have to coach the new producers in our Academy once a quarter. When he was new he was in my group (it’s only like 4 people) and I was super excited lol. He couldn’t believe that I knew who he was.

p.s. I also had former MLB player Casper Wells in another group. He is a great guy.

I'm basically playing the devils advocate on this one I'll just say that the facts are still pretty damning for him:

1st round pick

beat out by a 6th rounder

had to trade for a 30 yr old CB to replace him

the journeymen that we have normally get the call up over him when the starting 2 are out.

Might not make him the "worst" but definitely puts him in the "biggest bust" category.

Elam is lucky he’s a late first.

If he was top 15, he would in the argument for sure

Billy Joe Hobert. He had a very kush job as long as he wasn’t called on.

I actually know Billy Joe and he didn't want to be in Buffalo, so he said he wasn't prepared so they would trade him. He was actually a decent player in a situation he didn't want to be in by getting traded from the Raiders to the Bills.

I'm going to run with a guard Marcus Spriggs. He not only was unable to block, he didn't even try. Once Rob Johnson got hit late and was laying on the floor bleeding. Spriggs didn't give the defender a second look, let alone attack him. He just glanced at RJ and kept walking.

The young fans probably have no idea just how bad our offensive lines were for just so long.

Reggie Bush ran for negative yardage for the Bills
