Another Buddy Nix era player Duke Williams was terrible. Torell Troupe. In one half of football Peterman produced 63 percent of the turnovers produced by the ‘24 Bills over 20 games. 2 Quote

He was actually a decent player in a situation he didn't want to be in by getting traded from the Raiders to the Bills. True story! Quote

As far as the “worst” if you factor in the opportunity cost you might consider John McCargo, Torell Troupe, or TJ Graham Marv Levy and Buddy Nix were bad too, and I think Bills fans really overrate Doug Whaley. Bottom line - this team was a mess before McDermott and Beane. "Marv Levy and Buddy Nix were bad too, and I think Bills fans really overrate Doug Whaley." Oh no they don't.......his draft success was worst in the league in terms of home grown starters. Quote

jethro_tull Posted February 16 Posted February 16 The Mike Willimas pick in 2002 was such an incredibly bad failure that it made the bills gun shy about picking an offensive lineman for years after that. In fact it wasn't until 7 horrible, long years later that the Bills picked an O-lineman higher than the fourth round (2009, Eric Wood, first round). This had a horrible impact on the team and a big contributor to the drought years. 2 Quote
Wacka Posted February 16 Posted February 16 Hobert. I think he played for NO before we got him. Played in one game and was a mile high heap of steaming dung . He admitted that he hadn't read the playbook! Bills cut him the next day. 1 1 Quote

Next who immediately came to mind & others have mentioned is BJ Hobart. Peterman played one game where I think he was literally the worst statistical QB ever. Yes! Lonnie Johnson was frustratingly bad. 1 Quote
John Gianelli Posted Monday at 12:21 AM Posted Monday at 12:21 AM Anyone remember Tom Ruud? 1st round draft choice in 1975. Tom Ruud played 5 seasons for the Bills and Bengals. He played but didn't record a tackle! On 2/14/2025 at 12:55 PM, GASabresIUFan said: Piss poor draft overall. Only Franco Harris made the Hall from that entire draft. Don't forget about greats Phil Dokes and Tom Ruud. I mentioned Ruud below. He was a 1st round pick. Played 5 years for the Bills and Bengals and didn't record a single tackle! Quote

I always recall he was a training camp wonder. And then in games he was dreadful in historic proportion You are not wrong. Elam is the worst pick of the Beane era if you are going by draft position vs production. He’s garbage and I hope he gets cut On 2/14/2025 at 10:44 AM, kickedface said: lots of maybin hate. i'm guessing people don't remember maybin mayhem. the dude was dropping hits. I think that's because the Buffalo Bills didn't record stats like tackles in the early '70s He has a recorded sack for the bills so he definitely had a tackle.. the Buffalo Bills statisticians didn't track tackles till like 1978 Edited Monday at 09:53 PM by Buffalo716 Quote
