He’s not your typical star athlete and a lot of people can’t deal with that. He doesn’t do himself any favors with the way he often comes across, but there’s no question he has a lot of friends in the league and is highly regarded. Throwing Mike Williams under the bus after the Bills loss is exactly who he is. Probably the most talented QB I've ever seen but there's a reason he won only one Super Bowl. Quote

If he truly qualifies for a HC job in the NFL then he doesnt need to hear Rodgers' opinion on a culture RODGERS HIMSELF cultivated and lead. Sure, there are larger, overarching problems in the organization. But Glenn cant cut Woody Johnson. Rodgers thinking he should have been consulted on what was wrong with a team that HE played for and lead, that HE forced his OC onto, that HE forced the players he wanted onto... shows exactly why he shouldnt be consulted in the first place. You think Rodgers is going to call out his own behavior point out the Jets were stupid to kowtow to his every demand? Worthless conversation, imo and in Glenn's opinion. Nah. If Glenn really said to Rodgers that he didn’t want to be talking to the team and having players look back at Rodgers…that’s the sign of a new HC who isn’t confident in his own ability to lead. Bottom line — why invite the guy to the facility to do it this way. Just inept. And again — I’m not a Rodgers supporter and think he comes across as an arrogant arse much of the time. Quote
C.Biscuit97 Posted Thursday at 10:31 PM Posted Thursday at 10:31 PM He’s like the really hot girl who is past her prime who isn’t as attractive but doesn’t realize it. way too mid to be acting like this. He really did study Favre. He was once one of my favorite players but now I can’t stand the mention of his name. 1 Quote
Another Fan Posted Friday at 12:07 AM Posted Friday at 12:07 AM (edited) If the Jets did a reality show about their organization and team even I would watch it. I'm not even a Jets hater but between the Jets buyout of employees, Rex Ryan being considered for the coaching job, and this Aaron Rodgers meeting..... their dysfunction is massively funny and entertaining! Makes me feel better about my own job and company I work for Edited Friday at 12:12 AM by Another Fan Quote

Before the Packers traded him to the Jets he acted hurt that the Packers wouldn't talk to him during the off-season making him feel unwanted. When confronted about the GM calling him multiple times well before the trade Aaron blamed bad cell phone reception. Take everything this guy says with a grain of salt. If the Jets did just call him and decided to be moving on Rodgers would've been disappointed they didn't even have the dignity to do it in person. 2 Quote

All I’m saying is that if the conversation went at all like he said it did, it’s a bad look for Glenn and the Jets as well. 1 Quote

For what its worth, several Jets have came out and said that Rodgers was a good influence in the locker room though it is interesting that it has been mainly defensive players saying this. Quote

I spent the better part of a day with him once, working on some ESPN content back when he was dating Danika Patrick. He was actually a really likable guy, and was quite affable with me. And he has a good reputation with players. He strikes me as the kind of person whose BS rolls uphill. I remember him literally swearing at Mike McCarthy during games when he was a Packer, and he was an absolute dick to Robert Saleh. 1 Quote
