Oh, I stand corrected. About the same in the broad market (SPY). Ooh.

Maybe we should add in Trump 2.0's first 50 days to correct that.

You do stand corrected. A little excitable today, huh?

Who could have guessed trump would destroy the economy? At least the first time around he could blame covid. He better hope for another pandemic soon or he will go down as the only president in history to destroy his own economy on purpose.

Nothing of the sort on the level of destroying is appearing in any measures of the economy, yet. CPI and PPI have fallen slightly and energy prices are down. I doubt drill baby drill is going to produce much incremental production because with the exception of the Permean most of the best spots for shale production are fished out or facing steep depletion curves. And the industry is much more cost conscious than before.

And sure cutting Federal spending and jobs which will bigly impact DC and many States is going to result in some local recessions but over the long haul cutting what looks like dead weight will be positive.

Sure the markets have taken a hit but if you're investing in companies with PE's above 40 that are growing at 5% or outrunning their prospects or way over valued eventually you'll get what's coming to you which is a big loss. It happens every cycle.

NEW YORK (Reuters) -Ratings agency Moody's said on Tuesday that the U.S.' fiscal strength is on track for a continued multi-year decline as budget deficits widen and debt becomes less affordable.

The agency said in a report that the country's fiscal health deteriorated further since Moody's lowered its outlook on the U.S. triple-A rating in November 2023.

Not sure how the lefties are going to spin this on Trump (they will) , but this is what happens when you've run up the

credit card.  Someone had to step in and make the hard decision to cut ALOT of fat.

Or we in big trouble, yo.

Look within

You assume everybody loves the democratic nominees. If they did that clown wouldn’t be in office. Biden was at least professional in his horrific state. How can you possibly listen to that man and not cringe? It’s impossible to like the guy. If he helped the other side win in a landslide I would say the same thing about him. He’s just gross in every way imaginable.

You must have missed the “look within” part. I assume nothing. The reason the bad orange man is president is because of the ineptitude of democrats and their most recent two highest-ranking leaders. That’s indisputable.

Ya, sorry man. I didn’t read your post correctly. Ya, I just don’t like the guy. Never have. His politics are not the reason. I think he might have nearly every quality I find deplorable in the human race all merged into one person. Dishonesty, ego, pride, arrogance, manipulative, attention seeking. Real trail blazer of garbage.

You just defined Democrats to a T, and you forgot one other thing Democrats do well..

Rules for radicals, accuse the enemy of what you're doing, it keeps them off balance.
