Mike in Horseheads Posted April 1 Author Posted April 1 LOS ANGELES -- Los Angeles Dodgers first baseman Freddie Freeman was out of the lineup Monday night against the Atlanta Braves after slipping in the shower and hurting his surgically repaired right ankle. "He had a little mishap entering the shower," Dodgers manager Dave Roberts said. "Kind of swelled up a little bit." Quote
4merper4mer Posted April 3 Posted April 3 (edited) The Sox extended Campbell eight years yesterday. He rocketed up the prospect charts last year and made the team this Spring. There’s some risk with the reward for them. The Padres locked in Merrill for nine. There’s risk in everything but this kid has to to on the low side of that. He converted from SS to CF as a rookie and played like a veteran star the entire year. He was likely to get a giant contract about four seconds after team control expired. He’s one of the most fun players to watch in MLB IMO. The bat control and plate discipline at that age aren’t something you normally see. Edited April 3 by 4merper4mer 1 Quote
