Brady has never seen the pressure that Mahomes did in both of his Super Bowl losses either, so there's that.

I agree was Gronk was the best, but Kelce is the greatest.

But there's a reason Brady never saw that much pressure.  He was the master of making his reads quickly, moving subtly in the pocket to find himself space, and getting the ball out quickly, accurately, and in rhythm to guys like Welker and Pedelman or Gronkowski, who made YAC for him.

Sick of the over saturation of the Kelce brothers. I just want the last remaining one GONE. I hate his face

I hate his stupidity. He's demonstrably dim. Always been a total bimbo. Has often coasted to his successes, or stumbled into them reluctantly, when compared to the work ethics of most other players in the league. Eff that guy.

I actually wouldn't mind watching him be even LESS dedicated for one more run. See him come in next camp even doughier, even slower, and even less willing to block.

He's lost a step the last two years. The 2023 playoff run was his last consistently elite stretch. 2022 he was still a very good dynamic weapon in KC and was their go to offensive weapon in a Super Bowl run both in the regular season and in the playoffs.

In 2023 he was not nearly as good in the regular season but seemed to be able to "turn it on" so to speak in the playoffs and while in the 2023 playoffs he wasn't quite what he was in 2022 he was 90% there and still a very potent weapon for them. But in 2024 he was just not very good outside of the divisional round game against the Texans. His regular season stats were good but considerably down from what he did in from 2016-2022 when he was putting up consistently elite numbers. And outside of the Texans Divisional Round game Kelce had a dud playoff run. 2 catches 19 yards in the Conference Championship and 0 in the Super Bowl. And he looked noticeably different outside of the Texans game a game where he looked fresh coming off a 3.5 week layoff.

I think Kelce at age 35 he could sort of pull a Kawhi Leonard and load manage his way into being an above average regular season player who just "turns it on" in the playoffs. But for one he's a year older coming off back to back 20 game NFL seasons (post season and regular season) and in 2023 he started the year banged up, it wasn't necessarily intentional that he coasted and just turned it on. He just got healthy after an early season injury.

I think it is better he hangs it up and calls it a HOF career, he's among the best TE's to ever do it. He's unlike to at age 36 after having played 57 games in 3 straight seasons is going to turn around and get better after two down regular seasons and a bad playoff run.

I remember reading an article years ago about the Bills players, during the SB years, saying how much harder it was each year, because they were playing all those extra playoff games each year.

You should see his tape from the Super Bowl. Brutal. His get-off from the line was slow and there were entire plays where Mahomes was running around and Kelce just stood there.

Its probably in the Bills best interest that he keeps playing.

It just reeks of a guy thinking it was enough to just show up. He honestly didn't look great in the AFCCG either. The Texans game was the only game this season where he looked like his old self I'm sure he popped in at least 2-3 good regular season games but his stats in total while not bad at all were far from elite. If you can't show consistent effort in a Super Bowl going for an unprecedented threepeat then you probably shouldn't sign up for another regular season plus an attempt at a playoff run.

I think after a disappointment emotionally like that you go to a bad place sometimes... give it a month or two... and training camp rolls around.. and its time to play I think he is totally back... sorry not buying it... UNLESS Tay Tay wants him to retire ... then well... I could see that...

Once his star fades, she will be gone....

Honestly, that is something I am thinking too... once he retires he really doesnt have a lot of star power to offer her brand... unless maybe he goes the way of Brady etc... and starts broadcasting and stays relevant in that regard... who knows... but it may keep him around longer for fear of that happening...  he is trying to get into acting as well... lol...

If Kelce chooses to retire, the Chiefs, as they head into an intriguing offseason, want to know of his decision around March 14, according to a team source. Based on the deadline, the Chiefs are going to give Kelce a month to decide his future. Kelce’s contract, which runs through next season, includes an $11.5 million roster bonus that is due March 15, according to Over The Cap. The NFL’s free agency period begins March 10.
