Three-peat was a big motivator. Not sure where he finds the motivation to put his body through it again. Probably has a tough time keeping up with his Swifty as it is. He seems so much older than her.

I kind of hope he eats $20 Million of the Chiefs' space next year.  

 

He looks his age out there.  Maybe he can sting you in a game here and there... but I wouldnt take him for $20 million.

I can't believe I am going to defend the New England era, but until Mahomes wins more rings, TB never had a SB as bad Mahomes did on Sunday, and performances like these from Kelce are exactly why Gronk is the best TE by quite some margin over Kelce.

He's clearly over-the-hill.  He can turn in some vintage Kelce performances, just not for an entire season. 

 

Either retire or be prepared to take a backseat to Noah Gray.

Kelce also has a lot more opportunities in front of the camera since his star shined brighter with Tay Tay. I went to a taping of “Are You Smarter Than A Celebrity” last offseason where he was hosting. He’ll have many more opportunities like that.

Brady has never seen the pressure that Mahomes did in both of his Super Bowl losses either, so there's that.

 

I agree was Gronk was the best, but Kelce is the greatest.

If KC won that won the ring race would be 6-4 in favor of Brady right now, with Mahomes only being 29.

I heard a crazy stat that Mahomes is 0-3 in the playoffs when Tom Brady is in the building. For that reason alone I am all for the league letting Brady to continue to work as a broadcaster, I hope Fox wins the bid for the next 10 Super Bowls, and they start picking up the AFCCG.

Travis Kelce is the key here... if he is no longer THE GUY, then Mahomes looks very beatable. Nobody gets open for him like Kelce did.

hes at the point in his career where he doesnt want to do anything in the offseason,  doesnt want to do training camp.  hes probably tired and bored and upset that hes not the focal point of their offense anymore.  hes probably going to be asked to restructure and take a pay cut.  hes got nearly every record he needs,  hes going into the Hall.  hes set for life and if he even sniffs that the Chefs cant win another SB with how theyre set up,  he probably says f it and hangs them up.

 

you see this all the time.  future HoF veterans dont want to do the work off the field when they get older.  the grind is real,  and the older you get,  it gets worse.

He's miles ahead of any of our TEs, even at his age. To say that he sucks after a 100 catch year is a little extreme.
