julian Posted 6 hours ago Posted 6 hours ago (edited) This is the impact Allen has, the ability to bring a grown man to tears simply by acknowledging his hard work. I don’t think there’s another QB in the NFL who leads and carries his organization with as much class and dignity as Josh Allen, he’s all in unlike any QB I’ve seen in the past. Donuts and Doritos Posted 6 hours ago Posted 6 hours ago Thanks for all you do Rick! Keep up the good work. Go Bills! Quote

(humor; for those that weren’t sure) I thought he had, but you're right. I went and watched his speech again, and not one mention of the fans. It was all about the Bills organization/coaches, his teammates, and his family. Quote

Could have been a nice tie-in if Josh had asked the Bills Mafia to donate $17 to a go fund me he had set up in this guy's name. I think Slick Rick would then have been drying those tears with hundred dollar bills. Quote

No offense, and Bills fandom really is special and we give a lot to good charities But, slick Rick isn't dying of cancer... He doesn't have a terminal disease.. why should he get hundreds of thousands in donations? And not the cafeteria lady? Not Pam at the front desk? Josh is a people person and makes everybody feel loved.. but donating to this guy but not to the cafeteria lady doesn't seem right even if he is salt of the earth I'm sure there's a lot of people around one Bills drive that are salt of the Earth Edited 5 hours ago by Buffalo716 3 Quote

These donation things are not for everyone, if it doesn't fit for you, you wouldn't have to give. But I personally would have liked to donate to someone who doesn't have the sob story background. Just as a show of the strength of a Josh endorsement. I think it would have been cool, I wish it would have been done. 1 Quote

So mail a letter to two Bills drive with money in it with the guys name lol nobody stopping you Bill fans are amazing.. but we don't need to give money to every single little thing that touches at a heart string If you want to go for it mail the guy money... But Us opening pocketbooks quickly doesn't make us better fans at the end of the day That guy getting recognized by Josh Allen was worth a million dollars in his heart Edited 5 hours ago by Buffalo716 1 Quote
Ed_Formerly_of_Roch Posted 5 hours ago Posted 5 hours ago I read something online today that Josh gave the all time best MVP acceptance speech and this was from a national writer, not someone with ties to western NY 1 Quote

It's been a signature move that has class. IMO, it has helped make the Bills Mafia a better fan base and one I'm proud to be a part of. Mailing it, I could I suppose. Definitely more effort though. I'd have to write something and then I couldn't really get away with the paltry $17 I would have given. 1 Quote

Cheektowaga Chad Posted 4 hours ago Posted 4 hours ago I honestly figured when Allen mentioned "slick Rick in the mail room" I figured it was just a made up name to describe all the admin/clerical/reception/janitorial/cafeteria/etc. the employees that make the day to day running of the business and building possible Awesome that he is a real person, and glad to have met/heard slick Rick speak about what it felt like to be mentioned. That's really cool Quote

BearNorth Posted 3 hours ago Posted 3 hours ago We had a Bills QB when I was a kid. Did many speaking events in the community, if you met him, he shook your hand, looked you straight in the eye. Wore #15. Went on to a pretty solid career after the NFL. 1 Quote
