From what I've read their plan is to move the SB to Presidents weekend. I'd guess they go with Presidents day weekend for SB rather than starting the season Labor day weekend. Add to that College football has kind of taken that weekend over now too. Guess the Daytona 500 and NBA All-Star game will need to find new dates! For many people Labor Day weekend is when they take their last gasp summer vacation or getaway to their lake house etc. Its also the weekend teachers use to get ready for school. 1 Quote

I don't know if they have a place in WNY that could do it since I live in NJ and don't know the area. But Buffalo being a football mad city would create a great atmosphere for it. 1 Quote

Which is why I wish that they would announce it earlier. It would make it easier to plan ahead. They can announce it earlier than May. They just want the spectacle of it. I remember when they used to announce the dates at the end of February, and it was in the newspaper. Quote
