It all depends how they view Coleman and Samuel both showed flashes but lacked consistency, Shakir is elite.. Definitely need to grab a wr or 2 in FA Kinda baffling how MVS destroyed it in N.O after released. Brady needs to implement more big plays and this O would be perfect 👌 I'd go defense defense WR in first 2 rds. Other than that and probably Ty Johnson, the O is set Edited 5 hours ago by JerseyBills Quote

Bills need a major upgrade over Coleman I mean major is a strong word, considering he played for the highest scoring offense, plus he was a rookie and seems like he's a hard worker. No reason he can't have a break out year, Josh consistently threw to him in 1 on 1 coverage, so some level of trust is there. But yes, and upgrade would be cool but not a necessity 3 Quote

OL- top in NFL, and excellent depth. WR group- worst in the NFL? Its remarkable how many points Josh puts on the board, with such a weak WR group. Bills need to infuse the WR group with talent this season. And all other resources can be spent on DL, Edge, CB, S Quote

Situational play calling could still be improved, and total points for the season doesn’t change that. Tush push to the left over and over into a wall of defenders lives rent free in my head. Those two failed (and horribly derived) 2 pt conversion attempts has real estate up there too, lol. 1 Quote
SoCal Deek Posted 3 hours ago Posted 3 hours ago I’m not sure what people want here. The purpose of the offense is to score points! The Bills offense scored more than any other team in the league. I couldn’t care less that they don’t have a shiny ‘superstar’ WR. As someone else’s thread so aptly put it ….It’s the Defense, stupid. 1 Quote
LabattBlue Posted 3 hours ago Posted 3 hours ago Including the playoffs? Why, when that means some teams played more games? Quote

We are in agreement that D needs most attention. But the fact is, our last two playoff exits, our offense failed on the potential winning drive. Mahomes only needed 13 seconds. Our offense had 3:30, 3 time outs, needing only a FG- and the offense failed! Last two seasons our D made stops towards end of game, and the offense failed, stupid. 1 1 Quote

That’s true, but looking back over the course of the season are you willing to swap out key players on offense on the hope that at crunch time of a playoff game they’ll miraculously be able to make a play? I’m not. I’d much prefer shoring up the defense so we don’t need to put up 30 plus each week (including in the playoffs) just to be sure we have a chance. Fix the damn defense! Quote

Devote every draft pick and FA to the defense, just give Josh one more excellent WR. 1 Quote

There's no guarantee in anything. To make the SB, you have to be clutch and somewhat lucky... and we are not. We got the luck part when Andrews dropped the 2-pt conversion and could not finish the job with the clutch aspect vs KC. Quote

You know what would help the offense score more? A vertical X WR. James Cook 22% of carries were against stacked boxes. A vertical threat opens up the middle of the field. More space for Cook, and Knox and Dalton will be open more in the middle Quote

Other than that and probably Ty Johnson, the O is set If the O is set, why did McDermott say they needed needed to add impact players on offense and defense? He probably wasn’t talking about QB, OL, or RB… he meant at WR. The Bills know they need to upgrade the WR room, which is why they traded away a 3rd round pick for Cooper. They know Mack Hollins can only do so much as their primary outside WR. Like I said, I see them bringing back Hollins, adding a WR like Hollywood Brown and drafting a WR as well.
